I've been using bags like those for years and they do seem to work to repel bugs. Not that they are "magical bags", but they are a good natural way to repel scorpions, spiders, moths and all sorts of critters that hate those smells. Once I got them, they smelled fresh and not overpowering. Just a nice clean natural smell that would be fine for men and women. I know some reviewers mentioned maybe getting tainted bags with tiny bugs with them. So, I flashed my UV flashlight on them for inspection (see picture) and they are totally clean. As for appearance, they look nice and would not clash with your decor. They seem durable and functional for what they are advertised to do. The price alone is what makes this an attractive package. 12 bags of french lavender and 12 bags of red cedar is more than enough for most families. Pro tip, put them in your luggage (check with local TSA or countries jurisdictions to be sure if you can). They will keep your clothes smelling fresh and will help prevent bugs from going in your suitcases!

Doesn't smell as strong as I would like.

Bought both lavender packet and cedar chip bundled baggies count each don’t recall and just opened and placed them for sent and cedar effect been day 2 now snd waiting for a stronger smell Not yet. Several place in pantry closed door and each in sock drawer and in master closet and lavender in each bathroom both over each toilet and in sink areas. Very little oder so not sure its potential to be effective. As stated dr killihans phormorne trap work fast in pantry and kitchen but will it last and the combo be effective .. tbc

I bought this to keep bugs out of my closet. Bugs like silverfish can cause holes in my clothes if they get in. It performs its function faithfully, with a pleasant scent. The products contained within each pouch are aesthetically pleasing. They're also easy to use, as they can be hung up easily. The pouches are durable and won't burst.

I like the way these smell, and the two scents go together well. I bought them for my dresser drawers, I used all of them expecting a nice whiff of ceder and lavender each time I opened a drawer. Maybe even a little bit while the drawer are closed. But there's nothing. Barely a trace of lavender or ceder. They only smell when I put them against my nose and take a big whiff. Disappointed. Gave three stars because the bags each come in are nice, easy to refresh when needed and well packed well.

Great combination of cedar blocks and lavender sachets

This is just as bad as the rose petals except that I can return it and get my money back. Once you open the box they all look beautifully tucked in nicely and everything but they have no scent and you can't use it unless you just want to give it away to some poor soul or no good reason at all except to just rid yourself of it. It's a useless product, And it's all assorted sad state of affairs to say that beautiful herbs and natural woods have no ascent when they don't!!!

Love these for my high humidity climate. Even though I keep my home at about 70 degrees year-round, my linen closets and blanket chests had a less-than-good odor. These sachets have helped clear-up the problem. I like the size and how pretty they are. Best of all everything smells so much better.
