I recommend just buying one from Home Depot or Lowes to ...
We ordered three for the back yard to help get rid of chipmunks, squirrels and a skunk that comes around most evenings. The units have a little red light that comes on when motion is detected, but that's it. No audible sound and no light. The critters just walk around them, and the squirrels even climb on them with no effect.Also, I ordered them on Oct. 12, and it took more than three weeks to be delivered. They were well packaged, but I didn't realize they would be shipped from China.If you want to try this type of product, I recommend just buying one from Home Depot or Lowes to see if it is effective.Very disappointed. Seems like a waste of money.

Probably a good deterrent, but not enough to get established ground squirrels to relocate.
I bought four, and they all function properly. However, they failed to repel ground squirrels from their burrows and I ended up using poison bait and a pellet rifle. These devices are now in use as a deterrent, but its too early to say how effective they are long term -- So far so good. 4-stars for now, and I'll try to update this after a year to see if these devices hold up, and if ground squirrels stay away.

Not effective
We bought two of these and they did absolutely nothing; the chipmunks just pranced right by them without any issues. Plus the red and white lights were annoying. So sad they didn't work!

I really like this item
I really like this item. It has been a great help. I haven't been bothered with mice as much. I am glad I got this item. I will be getting another one for the end of my house. i would recommend this item.

Must work, no animals have entered, that I know of.
