The media could not be loaded. This ladder took about 10 minutes to drill and screw in place. I am most impressed with the heavy duty construction with wide steps. My 5 foot wife is in heaven with this ladder. A few extra dollars is worth this sturdy construction so my wife is safely entering the bed of her 4x4.

Very cool mod for bed of truck however the only issue I have is that it makes your tailgate much heavier. Other than that great addition to what I need. Wish they could recommend a tailgate hydraulic to go together with purchase. Now it'll be back to the search.

Had a little trouble mounting it to the tailgate because of the liner, but it’s very sturdy and takes my weight without strain. Makes it a lot easier and safer to get onto the bed of my truck!

Install was not a breeze as the hardware that came with it are of poor quality so I switched them out with better bolts. The latch broke off during install and again, I had to replaced them with better bolts. Looked good at first after install. The moment I stepped on the ladder, I knew I had to return it. I almost fell off because it wobbled to the left. You HAVE to keep most of your weight to the right of the ladder and hold onto the truck as you step up. Otherwise, you might fall off to your left. After a few use, a few bolts popped off and that was the last of it. Returned it within the 30 Day window. Don’t risk getting injured, it’s not worth it.

Flexibility a plus

You cannot use this ladder in either position, unless you climb it with all of your weight on the right side. The swivel will move, throwing you off balance if you put your weight on the left side. Also, the installation method was pretty lame, with the rivet setup that would not hold in place using the setting tool provided. It took so much torque to compress the rivet, that you could not hold it straight up and down. My Ford F250 Super Duty tailgate has so many strengthening ribs, ridges and panels that there was no way to install it with the materials provided. I ended up using self-drilling metal screws. Note: be sure to set the clutch to a low torque setting, or the thin metal in the tailgate will not hold them in place. They will strip out. I gave this thing a chance, but I think I will "un-install" it and ship it back. Too much time and money spent on a product that is too hard to use safely.

Had to treat it with rust inhibitor at every joint and the bearings. All rusted by the next day because it rained.

J’ai essayé d’installer avec les rivets fournis avec l’ensemble et j’ai seulement réussi à installer 2 sur 8 les autres j’ai pris vis auto perforante et le blockeur , les rivets de compagnie n’ont pas tenus, dommage car produits semble bien solide

Montage der Leiter war verständlich und perfekt.Alle Schrauben mit vorherigen vorbohren (habe Metallbohrer 3,5 mm genommen) haben perfekt gegriffen und die Befestigungpunkte fest verankert. Die Leiter ist auch Standsicher. Ich bin sehr zufrieden und es ist die perfekte Lösung um.auf die Ladefläche problemlos hoch und runter zu steigen.

It’s not easy to install. Extension sleeves are flimsy. It can only be installed on the drivers side of the tailgate. I didn’t bother trying to install it. I’m returning it.
