Some off out of the box, but customer service will work with you
I wanted to get a set of bells for my three year old. He is fairly musical and my husband is a music major, so I wanted some that were reasonably the right note...but I didn't have the budget to buy actual bells like a bell choir would or think that is really appropriate for a toddler. I intend to use these for some Montessori-based activities, so got two sets.Frankly, no bells at this price point are likely to be all in tune and this was true in this case. Almost half out of the box, were significantly off. (My husband did it by ear and then checked with a tuner.). I picked this particular product, because reviews read that they would replace bells that weren't right. Well, it took probably four tries, but we have two complete sets of bells that are fairly in tune. I was surprised that they really would keep replacing them. The bells were attractive to my child and sounded nice. The labels with the notes are stickers that look like they will come off. Otherwise, they look and sound like what I expected from the listing. The selling point here is really the fantastic and patient customer service.

Great product
These bells are beautiful, they are sturdy. I bought them for my niece birthday and everyone love them. They are very hard to break so they are very safe. The bells are very colorful and are color-coded. The tone of each bell is perfectly in tune. I used my piano and an app on my phone and they were all in tune. It also comes with a songbook that my niece found very helpful. I bought the set of 8 bells before but the 13 set is perfect as you can play more songs. Planning to buy a few more sets for my church now

Out of Tune, but great customer service
Several of the bells were badly out of tune. I am using them for a children's choir, not just as a toy and they won't work. Disappointed.**update: I did contact the company, and they were very willing to replace any out of tune bells for no charge. **

Chromatic bells sound cheap
Pertaining to the black handled chromatic notes- it is not the best sounding ring. It’s very tin can like and a short resonance ring. It does not sound full but very staccato and toy like.

Over half were out of tune
Seems like some people are having luck with this brand. Maybe they just got them as toys for kids and didn't care if they were in tune. Or maybe I got unlucky twice. I'm using them as musical supplements to a children's choir, so I needed them to be in tune.I bought the first set, and C through F were out of tune (some as much as an entire half step). So I got another set thinking that between the two I could get a full "in tune" set. I only tested the first 4 in the box (C through D#) and they were all horribly out of tune as well. I did notice that on a couple of the bells that if you hold the bell a certain way, you could get a note that sounded close. But if you rang it even a little vigorously, you actually get two tones coming out of the bell. So these definitely didn't work for me.I found different set of 13 handbells here on Amazon for about $10 more (different brand, different seller, but very similar look except the bells are slightly different colors). I got them today and they were all perfectly in tune (tested against a piano and a chromatic tuner). On the plus side - the seller did contact me a few days after I received them. I mentioned that both sets had so many bells out of tune that I returned them to try a different brand. They said they would offer to send another set but understood if I wanted to try a different brand. So the customer service seems good. I think I remember reading they had a really good replacement policy, too. If you get a set that's in tune, you'll probably be really pleased with the product and the customer service.

Very nice set, great colours and delivery was fantastic
I ordered these bells for a performance in a children's talent show and they were perfect, well made, easy to identify the notes and easy to use for the kids, On top of the great product the delivery was exceptional. They were delivered to from the states to myself in switzerland and I received them within 3 days. I wait longer than that for an order from anywhere in Europe so I was very very impressed.

Excellent for kids
This set of bells exceed my expectations. They are more colorful than the pictures and the sounds is in perfect pitch. They are actually loud. They are worth every dollar. I am glad I got these bells because the other brans are way to expensive and this one even comes with a cute song book which is perfect for kids. All bells are color-coded

Arrived broken
One of the bells was broken and one was out of tune. I was not able to get any reply to my attempts to contact the seller or the manufacturer, so I returned them. I'm very happy with the KidsPlay set that I purchased from Groth Music's site instead.

Missing bell
Have tried to find a way to contact seller, but cannot see contact information. My box contained everything but the G handbell. Instead there were two G#. How do I get the G bell that is missing?
