Excellent microphone
I use this mic for guitar cabinet's in live recording sessions. To me and many engineers I've worked with, it sounds slightly better than a SM57. I bit more body and fullness. A very well made mic that sounds great and is worth every penny.

Speaks for itself
Buy when the price is right. Classic amp mic that any sound engineer will recommend. Even simpler/easier than sm57 since it can be hung over the amp with no stand. Every guitarist should just buy one and throw it in their gig bag.

My Go-To Guitar Amp Mic
There isn't much to say that hasn't already been said. I have hung one of these over my guitar cabinet for years (decades?) with excellent results. I try to place it just past the edge of the dust cap, but it is not picky about placement like the venerable SM57. It just works. Live or in the studio, this is an excellent choice for micing electric guitars.

Great for Value
Perfection, for the money, sound quality is amazing, no stand needed light weight hang upside down from my combo amp. Looks amazing. I don’t know about durability yet, used it at 3-4 shows.

Great mic
Great mic to use on amp cabs. Surprised the Sennheiser box it came in was not wrapped up, but was an open box that even the flap wasn't taped down.

Amazing
Adds a great low end and captures a wide range in frequency, im pairing this with a Shure SM57 on the middle of one speaker and the e609 on the outer edge of the other speaker. Sounds amazing!

Excellent microphone for the price. It is very good at cutting out any frequencies behind the diaphragm. This makes it excellent for live applications with instruments or even voice. it might not be a really high end, vocal mic, but in the considerations of using it for the live floor recordings it is excellent and can make a very passible master track ( with very little bleed!). Well worth of money.
