IT IS A MIRACLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Unbelievable! WOW! This is the best thing since sliced bread! No really!! Our 4 year old male English Cream Golden Retriever has always barked at anything that moved - ANYTHING! He also would bark at the birds in the trees - just because they were in the trees! He would bark at people walking the bike path that runs behind our house. He would bark at the neighbors and/or their dogs. And when I say he would bark, I mean he would BARK. He would get all worked up and have hard mouth, which meant he had super bad anxiety. He would go into this trance like state, and would not listen to any command or even acknowledge we were there. We could not get him to come back into the house. Many times we would have to go our and physically bring him back in. We had tried 3 different no-bark systems including the ultrasonic bird house, the citronella spraying collar, and unfortunately in our desperate times the shock collar (he barked right through the shocks and got burns on his neck!). We also went through three different trainers that all used different training methods. BUT NOTHING WORKED! We could barely let him out to do his business without him disturbing the entire neighborhood. I would go out with him, especially early in the morning, and walk with him while he was getting things done. We have been using it for 5 days and we are over the moon happy! We can now leave him outside to enjoy the great outdoors, to sniff around, to chew on his bones, and to just be a dog without worrying that he will go into a barking frenzy. He is so much happier, calmer, peaceful, and seems to be enjoying life much more now that he has this collar. If he happens to "forget" that he has the collar on, he will bark a time or two, it will beep really loud and vibrate and HE STOPS BARKING!!!!!!! Like immediately. Sometimes he will shake his head because the beep is that annoying. But then the most amazing thing happens. He STOPS BARKING and CALMLY turns back towards our house and trots back and lays down. NEVER has this happened before. At first we were rewarding him with a treat when he did come back to the house with a treat, and it was remarkable that he did not have hard mouth. None of the three trainers could get him to do this, no matter how much time and money we invested in training him. I cannot tell you how this is changing our lives. We love this dog so much, but his barking caused a lot of stress and frustration in our home. We live in a neighborhood that is very quiet, peaceful and serene. Before this collar every time we would let the dog out, it would become anything but quiet, peaceful or serene. But now because of this collar we have been gifted PEACE AND QUIET! Thank you for such an amazing product! This collar has changed our lives and our dog's life. It is nothing short of a miracle! THANK YOU!!!!!!!!

Vibrations don't work for our pup :(
I was so excited to try this guy out because of all the awesome reviews, but unfortunately, this didn't work for our dog. He NEVER barks and is generally very calm and reserved... until we leave the house, and his alter-demon comes out. He barks incessantly from the time we leave to the moment we get back, meriting very annoyed neighbors (and rightfully so). I feel badly about the idea of a shock collar and was excited to try this no-shock, vibration collar. The first time I used it, it was on Level 4 for sensitivity with the shorter prongs. Didn't work. The beeping surprised him and he responded to it for a little bit--then kept on barking. Next time, we ramped it up to Level 6 with the long prongs (because our pup has thick neck fur). He responds to the beeping/vibrating, but it doesn't affect him enough to shut him up. He learns that the consequence isn't THAT bad and keeps on being naughty. So the item itself works just fine--our dog is just too stubborn to be corrected by it. So unfortunately, we have to move a step up to the shock collar. So sad! Wish this worked for him. One thing, I think, that might have helped with this collar is getting rid of the "reset" downtime. You know, when they bark so much they bring the collar up to its max--and then the collar resets? The downtime is too long for my dog to understand that he's being punished for barking, and he keeps going at it.We're sending the item back for this reason. Glad most everyone else has found success with it, though!

This product trained my dog not to bark
I have a 1 year old Lab. He got into the habit of demand barking. We took him to a puppy class, and the instructor told us to put him in his kennel for a few minutes and tell him he’s in time out. This wasn’t very effective for us because our dog actually likes his kennel. We’d put him in there for a 2-3 minutes and he’d come back out barking up a storm at us.It didn’t matter if we’d play with him for hours, fed him two minutes ago, or had taken him on a mile walk—when he wanted something, barking at us was his answer. It seemed like nothing was enough for him.I was hesitant to put this collar on him because i thought it would hurt him. I tried it in my hands at first, and came to the conclusion that there is no way it could. At most, the vibrations would just divert his attention from what he’s barking at.It’ll give you a couple warnings that sounds like a somewhat loud beep. It’s not too loud, basically for the dog to hear it. That’s mostly when he stops barking—the sound confuses him and he looks around and forgets what he was barking for in the first place. He’s only gotten the vibration maybe 4 or 5 times after 3 months of use.We haven’t put the collar on him since Christmas. He really doesn’t need it anymore. Whenever he wants something, he will just do the quietest ‘woof’ as to not get a warning, and then we try to find out what he wants by asking, “play, outside, food, etc.”We did have an incident where our friends dog was barking at him and the collar started vibrating. The friends dog was about a foot or two away though. If your dog has this collar on during a walk, and another dog starts barking at him from across the street, you shouldn’t have a problem.I recommend this product to all my friends that have issues with their dog barking. We don’t regret this purchase at all!
