Great latch
It worked great. It seems to be very durable. It was easy to install. The gate latches and unlatches easily but stays locked until you open it yourself. I reccomend.

Think Outside the Box
I know this is an outdoor fence lock but my kids kept ripping my baby gate out of the wall. I hate the way it lifted and pushed into its original mechanism so I tried this instead. So easy to install and even easier to quickly, and safely shut my baby gate for a solid, sturdy, fit that keeps my aesthetic on brand LOL

Nice gate latch for the price.
Great gate latch for the money. Very easy to install. Quality feels pretty strong and also has an opening to be able to lock the gate.

Solved a hard to solve issue; reversing an existing gate latch on an outswinging gate.
This solved a hard to solve issue. I only needed the post/locking bar, not the latch assembly but still a good solution at the price point. I needed to reverse the latch on an existing out-swinging gate in a vinyl privacy fence and only needed the post to accomplish this. But just the post was impossible to find. The latch bar in this kit worked perfectly to accomplish this. Black powder coated steel matched the original hardware.

Pretty straightforward
I purchased this lock to keep my autistic son from running off the porch. I placed it on the outside of the gate. It was so easy to install literally drill the pilot holes and then screw it on. It took Less than 4 minutes. Even with a gentle push it locks back in place every time.
