I absolutely LOVE this collar! Bought the 17-22” and it fits perfectly on my 65lbs Australian Shepherd. The reflective strips are a big bonus for me since we do quite a bit of night activities. I’d definitely recommend this collar.Updating my review:Still the BEST collar I’ve purchased almost a year later, September 2019. Everything is still as good as new and the stitching is as strong as ever!!Update April 2021:Still going strong! It finally has some clear signs of use. By far the best collar I’ve purchased. I haven’t had to get another since 2018.

Purchased the 17-22 for a growing anatolian shepherd with an 18" neck. It fits her very nicely and still has plenty of room, and I like it well enough that I will get her the larger size if she outgrows it. The padding is nice and thick and the buckle is strong. My only complaint is that there does appear to be some rust forming on the buckle, but that's a minor issue (and probably inevitable considering how she likes to go rampaging through puddles). All in all, I am extremely happy with this collar, especially for the price.

I’m a dog rescuer Nd have been for over a decade. I have purchased an untold number of dog collars, and was really very surprised at the very high quality of these dog collars. The price is such a great deal. I didn’t expect such great collars for this price. Better than any collar you can buy at your high-end organic dog food store or pet smart. We have six dogs of our own and purchased two of these for tow dogs that were missing their clasp-type collars due to wrestling.

Large was wayyy too large for my 55+ and very muscular dog. Got a medium and am pretty pleased with this collar. I had to put duct tape over the seam because was raised and rough on his throat. I use a harness and this collar when we walk because I like having his ID on him and I can grab the martingale portion of the collar when I need to have him stay close and the harness isn't doing it.

I ended up buying two. My dog's neck is 22" and I originally bought the Large, but found that even if it was adjusted as small as it could possibly go, he could still slip out of it. Because the collar is so cheap, and because I really liked it, I just went and bought a medium and it's the perfect size for him. I do like this collar, a lot. The red looks pretty smart and makes it easy to hook up the leash, even in the dark. I especially wanted one with a buckle, so I didn't have to force the collar over his head and adjust it each and every time I put it on. My pup is 70lbs, no problems at all holding him when he sees a rabbit, he can't slip out of it either, no matter how much he tries.

Please!! Do Not buy these collars!! The metal tabs for the connecting holes, pops out, and your pup could swallow them, causing much internal damage! Fortunately, I was able to get the tab that popped out, just as my Lab was about to eat it!! :( With very little wear, the inner lining...which is on your pups neck, separates, and rubs their neck. In my opinion, these collars should be taken off the market! I'm pretty sure that the positive review the collar has gotten, is from new purchaser's, who have yet experienced these dangerous flaws!

I have ordered other martingale collars and felt certain about the sizing I needed. 1 large for my 60lb hound and 1 medium for my 20lb terrier. The medium is on my hound and I will have to return the large and get from another seller since this one does not have small.The product its self appears to be well made and works well with the leashes I chose. The hound seems comfortable. The collar does a good job keeping him on task when we are walking rather than following that hound nose. Overall pleased with my purchase.

My dog's neck is 21" and I got her the large size collar and it was right on. Once I received the collar, I measured the length with a tape ruler and the shortest length the collar can go is 20.5", and it can extend to 26". The collar works really well for my dog and I can pull back the collar and not to worry about it slips off my dog's neck. The black and red loops look super good on my dog. Love the reflective stripes and buckle features too. This collar is perfect and I hope it will last for many years!

I purchased this collar for my 8 month old lab pup. It is durable, comfortable (I assume, I don't wear it but it looks comfortable on her) and it looks great! My biggest complaint with most collars is once it gets wet it has a nasty smell to it. This collar doesn't hold a smell and dries fairly quickly. It is made with high quality material and the buckles are strong! Highly recommend!

This is a great collar worthy of 5 stars. It is the only Martingale collar with a quick release (that I could find) at that price point. It feels like superior quality construction with the reflective thread a big bonus for night walks. I like that I could adjust the tightness of the collar so that it was firm but not too much so on my dog's neck. Be careful when ordering because we had to reduce to the minimum for this size collar when we thought we had ordered with lots of flexibility. The good part is we could. Would we order another? Definitely, but it's not likely this is going to wear out soon.

Measured dog's neck and collar, although looks great and probably works great.... it was too big... we did measure carefully, so this product fits bigger than it says I guess. Had to return and pay return postage.

Better than I expected. Arrived quickly. Perfect fit. Not rigid like leather can be when new.

Way to small for my dog
