Hermitshell Hard EVA Travel Case Fits Logitech Spotlight Advanced Presentation Remote

I was hesitant to spend this much on a pointer, but as a full-time trainer I'm travelling across the U.S. conducting classes for tradespeople. I'm finding that it's now about 50/50 for places that have LED/LCD T.V.s and places I use my projector. My quality Logitec laser pointer/presenter is still working great for the projector, but worthless as a pointer with a TV screen. I couldn't be happier with this presenter. I did purchase a case for it, but it works just as described in the video. I have found it very easy to use AND customize to my needs. The battery is lasting a good three hours or more - I just plug it in when I take a break and have not yet had an issue. It was easy to set up with the software, and easy to configure how I wanted it. Because of company policy, I did have the hardware and software "cleared" by our IT department. They are now ordering some for other employees. Yes, it's expensive, but it is worth every penny.

This thing is sturdy and with a solid, smooth zipper. The mesh pocket on the inside is a good size, BUT is installed upsidedown relative to the carabiner loop on the outside of the case. As the case is designed, hanging it from the loop will cause anything in the mesh net inside to be upsidedown...

This is a very well made case, and very useful. The case is hard but very lightweight and just big enough for the presenter so it gives solid protection without taking up much additional space and adding a negligible amount of weight to the already very light presenter. The Logitech Spotlight comes with a USB receiver that plugs into the handheld unit for storage, but it also has a dongle necessary to charge the remote, and there is no built-in storage space for that. Rather than having to keep track of the dongle, this case has a handy mesh panel in the lid that holds the dongle perfectly. I travel frequently with my presentation gear, and this case is a very useful and highly recommended accessory

This product is not much larger than the Logitech Spotlight remote, so it won't occupy too much space. However, the case is very sturdy and its quality is good. It would protect the remote much better than the flimsy sleeve which comes with the device. I am very happy with this case. A couple of minor gripes (hence the 4/5 rating): 1. I would have preferred a strap to hold the remote in place inside the case, thus avoiding the risk for the remote to fall down when opening the case. 2. A hand strap would be preferred to the large karabiner included, but likely I wouldn't need to use either. 3. I am not sure why two zip cursors are provided. One would have been enough. Other than these, a great product!

Excellent product! I bought the Logitech Spotlight Presentation remote and store a lot of stuff in the bag it will be kept in. I was worried about it getting banged up or crushed. This case is perfect! Tougher than I expected. I rated a 4 on durability because one of the zippers snags occasionally. Not often enough or even damaging. In fact, it could just be the right corner it travels on.

The Logitech Spotlight Advanced Presentation Remote comes with a soft case, but having this Hermitshell Hard EVA Travel Case gives me a piece of mind as I travel a lot and my travel bag sustains many bumps and strikes. This hard case ensures that may remote is going to arrive in one piece when be available for use when I need it.

I ordered this the same time I ordered the Spotlight because I did not know the Spotlight came with its own small vinyl case. But, seeing the quality of the included case compared to this beast, I would still buy this and throw away the included case.
