Best Liquorice I have ever had!!
My husband grew up in England and loves this liquorice. It took us a very long time before we found a source to purchase some. When I tried it, I have not gone back to US store liquorice. This is the best, hard, and each stick will last a long time. We have never had it go bad. But then it never lasts long enough to get there. Highly recommended!

Absolutely No Licorice Flavor
I was looking forward to receiving this licorice. It is an old company and I had one of these when young. So disappointed to find no flavor at all to them. Why would a company go to all the work creating these and not add a bit of licorice flavor? Beware. They are expensive and NOT RETURNABLE!

My Favorite
This is my second favorite licorice choice after Taveners Pontefract cakes. Actually they are in two different categories. They are extremely chewy and have more of a taste of figs than licorice. That's why is like them.

Less product for the same high price.
I love these licorice sticks but I must say this box was a surprise. This time around the Barrat company has reduced the stick length by about 25%. What a gyp! They use the same size box but the licorice sticks are not near the regular size, so, 25% less for the same money!

Simply the Best liquorice available
Had put off this purchase for far too long. What arrived was a box of freshly produced, superior quality, Yorkshire made rock hard liquorice - I’ve never managed to find any this good in a shop in the UK 🇬🇧 I got this delivered to America for virtually the same price I was paying in God’s own county- now the challenge is to ration my consumption! 😋 If you are a lover of traditional liquorice, you won’t be disappointed!

Hard as plastic..unchewable...very little flavor
tried one stick and found it tasteless and too hard to bite or chew, threw out the whole disgusting batch. Just awful!!

Damaged packaging and damaged product
The right hand top corner of the box was torn open. You could see the licorice without opening it. I’m not concerned as much about the broken sticks, just concerned about packaging.

Bought these for my girlfriend who grew up in England until the age of 11…she loved them because they were just like they were so many years ago and brought back some great memories for her!
