A must have!
The A-Z atlas has always been the go-to map in our family. Before any long journey, my father, my grandfather would sit down with a pad, pen and a copy of the A-Z. It was almost ritualistic.I guess there is something satisfying about planning your own journey that isn't achieved by typing a postcode into a Sat-Nav.I like to update my A-Z every few years and keep a copy stashed handily somewhere in the car. Sat-Navs sometimes go weird!!A trusty A-Z is a concise map of anywhere you'd wish to drive in Britain. Sometimes it's actually nice to switch off the driving aids and realise that with a simple set of road and junction numbers, you can get anywhere.

did what I needed
Accurately described, arrived within stated time, slightly smaller that we are used to so more pages to turn but clear and, most importantly up to date.

Good scale not to hard to read
The usual issue with the binding being just where you don't want it

Easy to use
I had this with me as I embarked on my 2000 mile grand tour around Britain. This was perfect fall back option in case my car satnav and mobile gps dropped. Yes there were certain places in deep highlands and parts of peak district and lake district that have no GPS signals so relying on the paper road maps was a absolute advantage.
