It's a basic--but essential-- kitchen item. The hole at the top of the item handle is nice for those who like to hang up tools overhead or on a wall. Just what I wanted, a long heavy metal spoon for my stock pot.

The size of this spoon was just what I was looking for. The spoon is also very sturdy. My main complaint is the edges of the handle make gripping the spoon painful. The handle should be round rather than flat.

Works fine; but a bit long for the utensil basket in my dishwasher. I should have ordered a shorter spoon, but it works fine for what I need.
