I was in need of a new setting powder. I had been using dermablend and a clinique one that I liked. After reading reviews I decided for the price it wouldn't hurt to try. It actually works better than dermablend setting powder. The powder comes with a puff to use. I can put the setting powder on and finish my hair etc and it is still in place. The powder actually will stay on you until you blend it out or use a makeup brush.

I love this loose powder. I use the translucent and I have light skin with red undertones and this is the best loose powder for setting all day WITHOUT changing my concealer to another color or making it too brown or orange etc. My Tart full coverage concealer stays true color. Most loose powder changes my concealer to an odd color and this doesnt. I cover up two scars on my upper back and this powder sets my Tart full cover concealer all day.

excellent product

I ordered the natural color. The same as before.. and this time it was very dark. So I still tried it thinking it’s going to be more transparent maybe.. but then made me look like I had 2 dark circles under my eyes. Both of these colors are labeled “Natural”

Too dry for me

I used the waterproof Dermacol in #211. On its own, it rubbed off all over my clothes within 1 hour. With other setting powders, it was a little better but still rubbed off all over my clothes within 1 hour. With this Dermacol Invisible Fixing Powder, it definitely lasted longer, but still creased and rubs off. It did have a slight tint, which was good in my case because #211 was too light for my skin. I will probably try this with the Dermacol primer next. UPDATE: I tried this again, but this time I did a thin layer of Dermacol #211 + A LOT of this Fixing Powder, and repeated this 4 times. I left it on from 9pm until 9am the next morning (yes, I slept with it on). I see no transfer of the product on my clothes or sheets. I just see the tattoo showing through at the creases of my neck. Overall I would say this held up pretty well. I wouldn’t do this for a wedding (I think I will go with professionally done alcohol-based airbrushing for that), but I will try this for work!

I use full coverage make up and applied this at the very last and it literally made my makeup see-through. I was able to see all the imperfections I just covered up. not only that it showed my pores and looked bad. Was really hoping this would be “the one”. Sad because my money was wasted.

Wasn’t my proper shade better off going in store to see instead of basing it off reviews or anything else like I did.

Fabulous stuff, have been having trouble with my skin recently and struggled with my usual make up covering my troubled areas so have been trying a few different things and I have to say this powder is amazing, covers well over the problem areas and have hardly had to top up at all during a 12hour shift. Will definitely be a new fave!!
