Good build quality I had the press up board before they are flimsy and handles pop out this much more robust

They are very sturdy, therefore a little heavy to carry around. The bottom grip is great, but the handle grips I find a bit uncomfortable. Also the bolts on one of mine have loosened, so the hand grips rotate in your hand, which I find annoying.

Solid, well made, good value for money!

I was given a set of these push-up bars from my Amazon wish-list as a Christmas present & I am very impressed with them. They are well made, very sturdy, reassuringly heavy & also well designed or their purpose. These press-up bars, unlike some others, also arrive pre-assembled.The base of the push-up bars has a tough, thick, textured rubber coating, making them extremely non-slip. Although I have only used mine on my plastic training mat, but I can't see these bars slipping even if used on a polished wooden floor.The hand grips are coated in softish rubber with a spiral grip pattern, making them very comfortable in use & they provide an excellent level of grip even for sweaty hands. Unlike wooden press-up bars, the handles do not absorb sweat & can be easily wiped down with an anti-bacterial wipe after use, if desired.The diameter of the hand grips is quite large, adding to comfort levels. I have quite large hands & find that the large diameter of the hand grips give me a very stable base when doing press-ups, as they spread the load form my body weight much better than narrow diameter grips would. I think that people with smaller hands also will find the large diameter grips equally comfortable.In use, these bars are tall enough to allow a greater range of movement than would be possible by just doing press-ups on the floor, without bars. I think that that the bars greatly lessen the stress on my wrists when doing press-ups. They also seem to make it easier to keep my press-ups "strict".These press-up bars are by no means the cheapest available (just under £30 when reviewed), but I still believe that they are good value for money, based on the price of other press-up bars & what you get for your money with them.Highly recommended!

These are really well made and strong, but because I have large hands, to make these perfect they need to be longer. My hands just touch both metal ends which wouldn’t happen if you added another inch on each of the grips.
