The Sunbeam CMS50DA Deluxe Fingertip Pulse & Oximeter Monitor is the best of it's kind...
The media could not be loaded. The Sunbeam CMS50DA Deluxe Fingertip Pulse & Oximeter Monitor is the best of it's kind...The little lanyard that comes with the unit is very cheap. The case that comes with the unit is very nice. The unit itself is very nice in fact the best one of these I have ever seen.In the past month or so I have reviewed several of these type of oxygen and heart rate monitors that go on the finger tip and this is the best one. What makes it so nice is that it automatically rotates the display position based on how you hold it. In other monitors of this kind you have to push button to rotate the display if it rotates at all, this one not only rotates but it does so automatically, it somehow knows what the best position is and displays the information that way, it really is amazing. There are some other good one like this on the market out there but finger in this is the best one I have ever seen or used.As of the writing of this review on 5-7-2022 A.D. this is the device of this kind that I am recommending as the best of it's kind. Now if they could just make a lanyard with some actual thickness...Good day & God Bless...Randall M. Works well, Made in China
While I wish companies would make their products in the USA (or at least countries that aren't actively against the USA), this pulse oximeter does work well. It's a good size and not cumbersome to tote around, and compared with another brand we have, produces very close to the same results for both pulse and oxygen saturation.Have AAA batteries is a little mixed for me. It takes 2 of them, which is nice because they're usually easy to find (and rechargeable NiMh batteries do work), but having a built-in lithium battery would have lasted longer and made it so you don't need to replace AAA ones, especially with the near ubuquity of USB chargers. (It's probably just as easy to find a USB charger as it is AAA batteries, and maybe more so in a home/family setting.)All in all, it's a good device and seems accurate!

A good product!
I bought this Sunbeam fingertip pulse oximeter for my brother-in-law who needs to closely self-monitor his heart rate and oxygen saturation at home. My wife compared this product with an oximeter from another brand and found their readings are almost identical. It takes about 9 seconds to start showing the readings, but she still allowed herself about 30 seconds for the measurement to stabilize as instructed per the manual. The package includes 1 fingertip pulse oximeter, 2 AAA batteries, lanyard, a soft protective case, and an instructional manual which makes it very convenient to use right away. Also, the screen automatically rotates its orientation for easy reading according to finger position. Overall, it is a good product!

Works very well!
During the beginning phases of the Covid pandemic, these devices were impossible to find and flying off the shelves, so it's nice to see them be readily available again, as they really are useful to have if you have respiratory issues, or just want to keep an eye on your pulse etc. This unit in particular is excellent - it's a good size so it makes it easy to take with you anywhere...it's well built and not flimsy feeling/looking (Sunbeam tends to make pretty decent quality items overall). It's got a large display that is easy to read even for older people, and it's super easy to use too - basically it's one button to work it. I use it to monitor my heart rate before and after exercise, because while I have an Apple Watch that does this too, I kind of prefer using an independent device for accuracy/a "digital second opinion" so to speak. One thing I absolutely love about this device is that the screen gives you a 4 way display so you can see it from all angles, and the bar graph and waveform as very user friendly and easy to read. So you have lots of options to get your results. It runs on 2 AAA batteries and comes with a nice carrying case as well as a lanyard. For the price, you really can't go wrong with this unit. I highly recommend it if you are in the market for one of these!

Easy to Use
This is an easy to use device. It comes with a small carrying case with a strap, and there were even two batteries included. It has an easy to read display that pops up within a few seconds of putting it on your finger. It shows your pulse rate and oxygen saturation. It is a good idea to have one of these on hand if you have sleep apnea so that you can keep an eye on your oxygen levels.

runs on 2 AA batteries
This is a handy tool to have around. I have asthma. When I'm sick, it's not always clear when I need to see the doc vs using the 'tools' I already have at home. The peak flow meter helps, but it doesn't get the whole picture. Having an objective measure of my O2 saturation will help me know when need to get in to the doctor. This device also has a graphic for the pulse. If there's an irregular heartbeat, it might help you know so you get medical care. I highly recommend anyone with asthma or other chronic lung condition to get one of these.

Accurate and Comes With a Protective Case
Quick and easy to use and has good battery life. I have pulse-oximeters scattered around my house and in my garage and in the gloveboxes of my vehicles. I am always glad to get another one, but the price of this Sunbeam CMS50DA Deluxe Fingertip Pulse Oximeter seems a bit high compared to similar models.

Best pulseox I've tried
This pulseox meter is the best one I've had. Some in the past just don't register a reading reliably while this one does. It reliably registers a reading even for small kid fingers. It uses 2 AAA batteries which are easy to install. A custom sized carrying case is included although you don't really need it.
