It works as advertised for Canom 80D
This is perfect to allow the camera to be interfaced to the computer. So now able to use the DSLR as a webcam. So many in meeting online give praise for the very clear image. I bought it more for recording some training in videos I needed to make for a major project in my masters program. Very pleased for such a small amount of money got great results, of course the camera was very expensive when I got it originally. Just getting more use out of it. All you need is the free driver from Canon to make it work as the webcam.

Exactly like the original Cannon cable
I purchased 3 of these cables so that I could sell my old camera and have one included in the sale, and one for an extra PC + a spare. They seem to be the same quality as the Canon product. The look identical. Works fine. Good product at a great price.

Good cord, but short.
The cord itself works as it should and seems well made. It is quite short, though. Maybe, 3 feet long. Be aware of that before you buy it!

IFC-400PCU Cable
I bought this cable to use as a spare with my T3i and so far it works as it's supposed to... no issues. the cable is not as thick as an original Canon IFC-400PCU (no, I don't believe this to be an original cable) but it works fine and more importantly it did not cause any damage to my camera.

Perfect Replacement for Powershot Cable
In my case it's actually an addition rather than a replacement: We keep the original plugged into my wife's PC upstairs, threaded around the back and up through the desk - pain in the neck to get it out when I want to download images on my machine downstairs.I must have tried a half dozen USB cables over the years but none worked with my Powershot. I kept my fingers crossed this one would and sure enough it did.Same dimensions, color and appearance. Now that we've got two in regular use I might pick up a spare in case one's lost or damaged.

Very Convienent
I carry spares because I travel so much with my cameras. It works well and makes it very convenient. Since I carry three camera bags, each one usually gets one. I don't have time to play hide and seek with myself and this fits the bill. (Canon 7Dii and a HF g20 video camera.)

The device didn't work, when plugged in, it ...
The device didn't work, when plugged in, it doesn't even get notified by my computer. I didn't open the cable right away, as a matter of fact I just tried it last week and didn't bother to return it because I had had so long and hadn't open it.
