Good Saw for the Price
I’ve seen some things about the Milwaukee products sold on Amazon not being legit, however I have had no problems with this saw and seems to be Milwaukee quality. Overall happy with the purchase.

Solid tool but feels a little underpowered
Seems like a good cutting tool overall and breaks well. I do feel like it's a little less rugged than I would totally expect from Milwaukee. No fold out for hanging on joists like you see on the larger saws. It cuts through 2x4s but does seem to get hung up easier than a corded saw on larger material. Very portable thanks to the battery and good weight distribution, even with larger batteries.

Like this saw but...
I really like this saw but there are a couple of things you should know before buying. It's light weight and easy to use which is why it is quickly becoming the most used saw portable saw in the shop. Because it's not the most powerful saw (see below), it doesn't throw saw dust all over the place like a more powerful saw does. All the saw dust stays right in the area where you're cutting and makes clean-up easy. What you need to know:You really need a 6 amp hour battery minimum to run it and even then it doesn't have the power of some other saws I've used.Out of the box it would not cut at 90 degrees. It took me a few minutes to figure out that it could be adjusted with a small hex screw on the bottom of the saw. Probably said that in the instructions, but who reads those.

Lightweight, reasonably powerful.
This has been a very handy tool for light construction - I'm building a shop so lots of 2x lumber to cut. My wife finds it much more useful than my old Model 77 worm drive as it's so much lighter. The safety switch on the handle is a bit awkward, and the depth of cut adjustment is difficult to use while measuring blade stick out. With a thin kerf blade, the cuts per 8 Ah HO battery has been quite good. All in all, an excellent value and a useful addition to my collection of M18 tools.

False specs by vendor
Item was fine but vendor falsely claimed in the specification that a battery was included and it was not sent. I didn't send it back because it was much needed at the time
