I needed to replace the heat deflector‘s and this was the perfect solution for a barbecue that was towards its end of life. This revitalized it and brought me many more uses afterwards and super easy to install.

These are large heat/flame deflectors...I knew that and measured the width carefully. But, for my grill, they were about a quarter inch too long without the extensions. Cutting them down was not too much a problem and they fit and work fine. Make sure the width is appropriate for your grill as that would be tougher to cut down to size. Installation is very easy, and I could see that the adding the extenders would be a pretty basic/simple task.

Easily adjusted to fit my grill for half to cost of brand replacement. Because they are wider the grill heat is dispersed evenly and roasting corn on the cob is easier and my grill top pizza oven works perfectly. I can get a beautiful crusted pizza done in the middle in 7 to 8 minutes.

These are really nice heavy duty replacement heat plates. Much thicker and better quality than my original equipment. I needed the extra wide (6") plates and they fit my grill with only minor modifications. If you can't get an exact replacement for your grill I would highly recommend these as a suitable replacement.

These are great materials, heavy gauge, and thick coating. buy some washers, so it wont crack ceramic when tightening screws down.this seals the top of my 4 burner Char Griller barrel bbq,with only and inch between spreaders, so it will reflect a lot of heat down also, keep the grill base/bottom clean or you may get fire in bottom easier.This also makes it hard to get to the burners if you dont have working igniters, so plan on full rebuild, including cleaning jets. It is a pain to lift up these wide spreaders to get a lighter in there.These don't have tiny end holes to fit onto my mounts, and they are just a little short (at 18.75 in.) to fit all the way across the grill width. I suggest to go buy some "all thread" to wire across the old stands. The thread will help hold these spreaders centered, so they wont slide into each other. I used an old curtain rod, and bailing wired it to the bent down mounts, to rest the spreaders on, and they slid, so i had to add some expanded steel behind to give em a place to bite.The spreaders extension plate has one of the holes as a single small hole to take the bolt, make sure you use it.Works fantastic, and spreads heat much better to the "cool" side,(and the front too) so if you do thighs or country style ribs without a smoker, you will like these.No flare ups from rust holes now, but will have to clean these more often, or burn them off, because they do catch more fat.

Adjustability allows to tailor fit for a variety of grills. Initial impression is it does a good job and should last for some time.

These are excellent and fit my Outback Spectrum 3 Burner BBQ very well.They're much higher quality than the originals which had rusted to nothing within two years. They're thicker, heavier and all around much better made. The bbq heats up far more quickly and evenly now too.These were around 1.5cm too short straight out of the box but the little extension pieces slot together well with lots of holes to adapt to any length so they fit great now!I don't review things as often as I should but these deserve a very good review. Bbq is like new and as I only needed two I now have two spares as well. Absolute bargain at this price!

Compared with what you get when you buy a new bbq, these are far bigger, sturdier and heavier and feel a lot better in terms of quality.I have a 4 burner bbq with half grill half hot plate so only needed 2 from the pack to replace the existing.Only thing I would say is they do block a bit more heat from the burner in comparison to the old ones, but then again I've burnt a few less sausages as a result! 😂

Used the heat plates for the 1st time today (an early seasonal BBQ given the sunshine!) and the fit was perfect for my BBQ and didn't need to use the extension plates.The displacement of the heat from the 4 burners was excellent and far greater than the plates that were originally fitted with BBQ, so would highly recommend as an alternative as well as a replacement.

I bought these to fit my old (2011) outback meteor BBQ, the rest of the BBQ was still in really good condition but these things we're destroyed. Having measured I ordered them and they were an exact fit for the fire tray, they cover the burners where needed and look like they'll do the job perfectly. Good quality and much thicker than the original ones.

Bought these to change from lava rocks as the BBQ has always had a very uneven temperature with hot spots and cold spots. These covered the whole cooking area and fit perfectly. BBQ is quicker to heat up, gets hotter and has a far more even temperature. Good thickness, hopefully will last quite a while.
