Okay first let me just say that this is not a negative review. This Real-Feel replica of the Sig 1911 is remarkably well crafted and an excellent tool for practice and even just beginning for those getting to know the mechanics around a handgun. As always safety comes first with firearms and this one has two features which is excellent for those maybe teaching thier children, etc. But what I really wanted to write this review for was that I was hoping to get some help on an issue I've come into and I noticed another review had the same problem. A week into owning it the front sight has fallen off and unfortunately when and where I was unable to go determine and the recovery was unsuccessful. If anyone could please direct me to where I could possibly purchase a replacement front sight for the spartan model 1911 I would be truly grateful. And again I would just like to say that overall I really like the Sig and I only put a 4 star and not a 5 because the craftsmanship was not at it's highest if parts are only lasting a week. Minor but important. So anyone looking to purchase this handgun I fully give my vote for it, but maybe just put some light sealant in the front sight. Thank you.

Bought it because I wanted a 1911 style BB gun for target practice that would fit in my 1911 holster, and wow! This thing is a lot of fun, with true to life controls and operation. I use it to practice draw and fire drills and this thing is perfect for that. Accuracy is fair for a BB gun, decent enough that it’s worthwhile practice but you’re not going to be hitting dimes at 100yds =) my backyard range allows between 7-21yds (typical handgun range) and it’s close enough to hit soda cans consistently. The build quality is impressive, if you didn’t know it was a BB gun you’d swear it was the real deal, the grips feel a little plastic but that’s about it. As far as Co2 consumption I’m getting around 4-6 mags per cartridge which isn’t too shabby considering it’s blowback action and 16rnd magazine. I can’t say much about its longevity as I haven’t had it very long but as long as you remember to use some pellet gun oil on the seals at least every other cartridge? I see no reason why it wouldn’t last a long time. Highly recommended

Real feel, a bit of kickback, which my son loves, and the gun looks great!! Co2 Cartridges were a little tricky to get in the first few times but he finally figured it out. Loading cartridge with the bbs is a pain though. One at a time which any 13 year old boy with no patience, hates!! Great purchase. Would recommend if you’re looking for c02 powered pistol.

Feels like a real 1911.

The media could not be loaded.  I have had the gun for a week and the front sight fell off.

I see complaints of c-2 leaking out , I didn`t tighten to much first time ,it leaked out .The next one I snugged up more tightly and never leaked any gas. I use it to shoo rabbits out of my yard .After a couple weeks ,no rabbits around . Good practice for real pistol shooting ,Doesn't kill them just startles them .

This is an excellent GBB starter pistol from Sig Sauer. The custom Spartan grips are gorgeous and the pistol itself, being mostly metal, feels very good in the hand. There's a tiny learning curve with loading BBs into the magazine. The instructions were very dark so I couldn't understand the illustrations that well and ended up fumbling around with the BBs for a bit before I figured out how to do it. That's my only minor gripe. Outside of that, no complaints! It also arrived earlier than the delivery ETA to my great delight so all-around a great buy!
