Wolfman Beta Plus Rear Bag

I have a wolfman tank bag that's made the same way. Tough bag and big enough to hold my 4 piece fly rod (barely) plus my waders boots fishing gear jacket etc.I was in a bad rain storm going thru new Mexico last weekend that washed out i25 and closed it for hours. Maybe had a few drops make it thru the bag but not enough to make anything wet. We were in the rain for maybe three hours. Like how it hangs on my 2013 gs. Kind of a pain that the front straps don't have clips and have to be threaded thru the buckle every time you put it on or take it off the bike. Probably makes it harder to steal, but I have never lost a bag or stuff yet.

Really like this bag, though I was hoping it would have been a little larger. Not quite big enough for all my gear on a long weekend trip on my DRZ400. I had to add another drybag on top of this one. Have not had it in the rain yet, but I keep my stuff in plastic bags anyway, so should be good. Well made, well designed; I think it should last a good long time.

This bag is one of the best saddle bags I have used. I put over 1500 on this bag in a single trip and it worked flawlessly and carried everything I needed. The only thing holding the bag back from a perfect review is the softshell side bags tend to get quished flat making them hard to easily access on the go and the tie downs need a quick release mechanism. Taking it on and off is a bit frustrating.

I like it, but I returned it. The workmanship is outstanding. The horseshoe design is great. It holds a lot of stuff and fits my sports bike CB1000R. I returned because it is a lot of money at $219 and it is not waterproof. if you want the rain cover for it it is $24.99 more.

This bag is designed by folks who ride motorcycles, you’ll see that the second you first strap it to your bike. I/we loved our first one so much, we got a second for my spouse’s bike. Now we have more then enough room for travel and packing. Our first test was a 3,600 mike ride to TN from Colorado. Wow, why did I wait so long to get the right gear?

If you don’t want big ol saddle bags hanging from your sides, this is an amazing alternative. Quality made, plenty of room for a weekend trip, durable and waterproof. And you can lean your back against it for support.

Great bag. Very water resistant. Packed for a two and a half day trip with a solo tent, sleeping pad, and bag, camp stove, food, tools, and clothes. I would buy it again.
