I got a cheap copy
I ordered this 3 pack replacement case from DigitalGamers. Not to bring DigitalGamers down or anything, but I got a 3 pack UMD replacement case that was like a piece of crap. It might have been from a chinese copy, as with everything else with electronics that you have to be wary of, from resellers on Amazon. When I took the UMD disc out of the case it was originally in and put it in the replacement case that I ordered, the sides of the case wouldn't snap shut. So I ended up having a UMD case that uneven and wobbled. I didn't even try putting that into my PSP, for fear that it would mess it up. I tried snapping the case together, it wouldn't snap in certain places. What I did was email my problem straight to the MMR manufacturer, because I thought I had a genuine MMR case. He told me that it was a copy of their product and sent me a couple cases free directly from them. I got them in the mail, tried them, and they work. The ones I received from DigitalGamers comprised of two seperate clear pieces that you snap together. The ones I got from the manufacturer was a single UMD case piece with you just opening the top of the case and sliding the disc in, and closing it. So I tried this with two games, they now work perfectly. The first time I put the UMD in the manufacturer's case I pushed hard on the the top to seal it, put it in the PSP and tried it. It made some hard reading noises. So I took the thing out and this time opened the top up with my fingers, as there's a place of the side the case with a slim arrow where you open it up with your fingers (the first time I opened it up with a knife, not knowing how to open it). This time I made sure the top was sealed all over, shook the UMD to make sure the disc inside was loose so it could spin easily inside, and put it in and it worked flawlessly, with no loud reading sounds. I guess you have to make sure the case is even on the top and sides and make sure the disc inside is loose.I recommend checking out the Multimedia Recovery manufacturer website for cases if you can't find a reputable reseller here that sells cases directly from the manufacturer. The genuine MMR cases are a lot better than the copies. They actually fit together. So this was my experience.

Considering these?
I just got these despite my skepticism. I had seen products similar to this in my local used video game store, and I finally decided to give these a try. They came in the mail in a protective envelope, loose in the package. I wasn't too thrilled about that, but they were all in perfect condition. Next I popped them open by twisting a penny in the indentation on the bottom left corner. These are quite tough to get open, especially since there were no instructions included in the package. I used a similar technique to get my original UMD cases open, and it was instantly apparent how flimsy the original is compared to these new ones. I quickly changed out the three games that were in broken cases, and tested each one in my PSP. All work perfectly, and there is no more noise of them spinning than with the original. I couldn't be more pleased with the end result, and I am definitely going to purchase more of these. I am considering replacing ALL of my old UMD cases, even the ones that aren't broken, with these. Knowing that these are available, I can also buy used PSP games with no fear of a bad case. I'll just replace it!

Work out great! Easy to use! Saved my favorite game!
I had a PSP game that I really wanted to play again but the case was slightly damaged causing it not to work in my PSP. I ordered these cases and they were incredibly easy to insert my disc and put together. I popped the game into my PSP and it worked perfectly, no issues and it looks just like the real thing. Very excited that for a few dollars I was able to save one of my favorite games. Plus, I have extra cases now incase any of my other games cases break.[ASIN:B000ZETR5K MMR UMD PSP Replacement Game Case 3 Pack Clear]]

Terrible
I have a psp 3001. I placed the disk Dungon explorers warrors of the lost ars in the disk houseing. The sides were compltley shut I looked at with magnifying glass to make sure that they were closed. The psp makes a lot of noise and normal disk reading sounds but cant find the disk. I have tried placeing it in all three of the caseings but not one worked. I eventualy got so fed up that I placed the disk back into the stock UMD houseing that was broken and used duct tape to hold together and the PSP chould read it. Also I ordered from VideoGameAdvantage who advatasied these as new but they were pretty scarached and in retaped packages. These are not wroth it the psp can not read and if you do decided to buy don't buy from VideoGameAdvantage they won't even answer my cliam.

Great Cases.
The cases work great. They are simple and clean, no damage to the ones I received. On a side note to whoever mentioned that the cases pull apart very easily when removing them from boxes... They must not be removing them how you are supposed to. You are supposed to push on either the left or the right side of the UMD (lightly) so that the other side pops up. If you do it correctly there is no opportunity to pull the case apart.

works like a charm
I finally decided to purchase some umd replacement game cases since I've been in the mood to play Final Fantasy Tactics: War of the Lions which I couldn't ply since the case it was in was broken. I admit I was skeptical as I ordered these replacement cases but after a few minutes I put fixed my game and was back to playing. It's really easy to put together, naysayers will complain because they put it together wrong. plan and simple this product works

I also received a cheap copy
My 3 replacement UMD cases were clear and snap-on, but they seemed to be knock off instead of the actual MMR brand. The UMD case took a lot of doing to snap in properly (as if a piece was missing) but once I put the UMD in, the game would barely run half the time.If you have to buy one for your PSP UMDs, please make sure they're the MMR brand!EDIT: After some more work, I managed to fit 2 different top and bottom halves together. The game now works. But I'd still advise people to buy the actual product. At least my PSP game doesn't make that worrisome sound anymore when the UMD is spinning.
