You get what you pay for
This is fantastic, I road yesterday in Erie PA at 52 degrees to work on the highway about 85-120 mph and was not cold at all?! riding a Honda 1000crf Africa twin with a small windscreen and still perfect. High quality everything. Honestly this should be $400+ and still be a bargain. Sizes are European so large fit me at 5'10" 162 lbs

Alpinestars Drystar v3
This is a very warm and waterproof jacket. Inner insulated lining is great when it gets cooler. This is my second jacket of this version. Due to a slipage on the back of my KTM 350 EXC-F on logging road on a very hot day, my coat shifted under my Voille Straps and ended up covering the muffler causing a burn hole all the way through. Ruined my jacket and this is a replacement.

Outstanding Jacket
The first thing that impressed me about this jacket is how well it is made. It has excellent construction inside and out and will certainly last a very long time. I've ridden in cool weather and rainy weather and three things stand out… it is warm, wind resistant and waterproof. I usually ride with a wind shield but I don't really like to… this jacket made riding without a windshield very comfortable and opened up a whole new world of motorcycling for me. I really feel protected, especially if I ever drop my bike. This jacket runs small. I usually wear large but XL was great. Really, really happy with Alpinestars! My first purchase from this company. I'm going to get the matching pants based on this purchase.

Runs about a size smaller than normal.
I normally wear an XL, went for the XXL on the Andes V3 jacket and it fits great. Unbeatable rain and cold protection! A little warm for summer riding, even with the insulated liner removed, but not unbearable. I've paired this with a size 4XL Andes V3 Drystar pants, and they're both excellent for 4-season riding here in Tennessee. I've been riding in this suit down to 25 degrees Fahrenheit and the cold never seeped in, even after a couple of hours. I've also been caught in a few storms and the Drystar membrane on both the Andes V3 pants and jacket kept me 100% dry. If you're looking for inclement weather protection, this suit will do the trick. Some points to note: there's no spine protector included, although there is a Velcro pocket inside to allow the addition of one, which is what I have done. Also, the rest of the armor in the arms and shoulders is built in, so don't buy if you're wanting to upgrade the armor as it won't be possible.

Warm Winter Jacket
The jacket feels like a snow coat when you put it on for first time. The overall length is much longer than alpinestars other jackets so it doesn’t leave any skin exposed to the cold. Collar is very comfortable on your neck. Lots of useful pockets. Feels like it will be really warm, so far ridden on a naked bike down to 45F and was toasty and didn’t feel the wind at all. Normal jackets I wear a L, I have a alpinestars rideknit jacket I ride with that’s an XL, this jacket I got a 2XL to make room for the included liner and adding back and chest protectors and still wanted room for a hoodie underneath if needed. I’m about 5 foot 10 and 190 lbs and the 2XL fits like a winter jacket should.

Not perfect. Possibly used?
This seems like an open box item. I bought a new jacket. It has black imperfections throughout. Disappointing for a new jacket. The jacket itself is nice. After spending the money on a new jacket, it's a let down to have these imperfections on it.
