The Bearded Gentleman: The Style Guide to Shaving Face

For years I went between having a beard, being clean shaven, beard, clean shaven...you get the picture. Never did I know that there were so many types, shapes and styles of beards. This book lays it all out on the bathroom vanity, so to speak. What to use, how to use it, how to cut, what could look good on you, some history of beard types. A great read for somebody looking to experiment with their image. My face has never been happier. Thank you! I can't wait to try them all!

The book is just okay. The book covers a few beard and mustache styles that I haven't seen on beard sites. The book also discusses sideburn styles, if you're interested in that sort of thing. The resources section is probably the best part of the book, although I don't think it justifies the $9.99 I spent on the Kindle version of this book.The book was disappointing in that approximately 30 pages is devoted to shaving. I bought a book to learn about beards, not shaving.

To tell the truth, I wasn't expecting to much from this book. But. It has been very helpful. My beard was squaring off my chin and I didn't like the look very much. The book has many drawings and the text covers about every situation I can imagine and I have fixed my squared-off chin. Excuse me, my door-bell is ringing - pretty sure its that outrageous blonde next door. (heh-heh)

not many styles that you could take to your barber. Was not impressed, however, was not that expensive. I would not recommend to anyone. If you like a particular style you see in a magazine, just rip it out, would will fare better than buying this book with few Illustrations, and lots of chatter.

It had some good styles in it.

I bought this for my husband to try different beard styles. He just grew his first full beard this year and wasn't experienced on how to maintain one. This book has good pictures and descriptions to follow.

I'm pretty sure 2 drunk guys wrote this book. I've laughed then entire time my boyfriend has been reading it. I love the pictures that come with the description.

I live far away so for sure it took a bit longer for the book to arrive, but it arrived way before the date I was given while purchasing. Book came in good condition, new. As for content of the book: nothing special, but you can get that from the title :D But there are hilarious pictures/drawings of "models" showing beard styles :D

Funny book. Brought for my bearded dad. Read with tongue in cheek. Had me chuckling in a few places :o)

I purchased this book to go as a secondary gift to the beard trimmer I purchased for my boyfriend. He ended up really liking the book, and we had a lot of fun looking through the different styles of facial hair out there. In fact, I may even ask him to try some out.
