Fragile
Ended up hitting one thing and the trigger is now busted, just get a vive wand or even some valve index controllers.

Nice controller
Nice controller but using track pads awkward when trying to use top part of pads. Can see now why some would prefer thumb stick instead.

If no index controllers available, these are next in line.
After many trials and comparisons between the Swords and the Index controllers, I'd say that the Index beats them by a few points. Here are the differences between the two:• Swords have interchangeable batteries that are easy to find in Amazon• I couldn't try the finger tracking because its not available yet (hopefully soon)• Trackpads are finicky and a lil hard to get used to• Swords do not weight enough to realize you've been doing long beatsaber sessionsTL;DRIf you can get Index controllers, go for those. If you wanna try something new with almost all functions as the index controllers, give these a try

an overpriced Vive wand
so far it appears to be an overpriced Vive wand.no finger tracking. judging by the way they have placed the button B, they are ready to abandon finger tracking completelyno user manual in the box. there is only a piece of paper directing you to the pimax.com. unfortunately pimax.com does not have installation manual for Swords either. I got it as a replacement for broken down Valve Index controller - there is absolutely no official info on how to do this setup . in fact, there is no support page for Swords at all. you are on your ownon the bright side, once you get it running it appears to work fine. positioning is good, buttons work good. the trackpad feels weird, but I think it can be used tothe grip feels weird. in bitsaber I get a constant feeling it's slipping out of my hand

Garbage
The Sword controllers seems to be a combination of Oculus, Vive, and the Valve's controllers. Its has Oculus's easy to hold handles, and its light weight dynamics,. It has Valve's knuckle straps that keep my fingers free for when I have to do something else with my hands such as adjust settings on the computer, but the controllers are too small for Adult men’s hands and it doesn't have finger tracking. Pimax Controllers also has Vive's track pad instead of Thumb joystick controllers. Which was a BIG mistake. The track pads are annoying and too sensitive when playing most games. My finger sometimes brush against part of the track pad by accident causing me to move in the game when I didn't mean to. I cannot understand for the life of me… why Pimax put a track pad on their sword controllers instead of Thumb Joysticks like Valve Index and Oculus Quest. Movement is much more precise with Thumb Joysticks, and the directional buttons are separated from the press(ENTER) buttons. These Controllers are practically trash.

Works with Index, feel kind of wobbly
Was able to pair these with my Index pretty easily - just held the button till it entered pairing mode and they were found almost immediately. Love that the battery is replaceable in case it dies.I do find them comfortable but they don't feel overly secure to me. With Beat Saber I constantly feel like they are going to go flying and the elastic that secures them doesn't feel tight enough for me. I have thin hands but long fingers so they are the size of your average male hand (the same size as my partner's hands except he has sausage fingers haha). Both of us felt the same insecurity while playing Beat Saber. For other games I quite like them but for fast movement I just can't focus on the game because I'm too worried about losing them. Maybe with more time I'll get used to that but for now I'll keep using the original Index controllers for Beat Saber at least.

These controllers are amazing!
The Pimax Sword controllers are really well made, they delivered pretty fast, and Pimax does a really good job at caring for their customers. Make sure you use the "PiTool" software (download is on their website) to setup the controllers and that you have at least one base station, because I didn't know about the app and it made setting up more of a pain than it should've been. The controllers track amazingly with little to no tracking loss, and they fit nicely in my hands. Thank you again Pimax!

Unusual but comfortable
This is an unusual set of controllers for a VR system, but it has been the most comfortable set of controllers that I own. The outer coating does feel both strong and soft to the touch which makes it comfortable for use with games that I played for hours at a time. The back elastic was very easy to adjust that after a while, I stopped realizing that they were on and wondered how the controllers stayed in hand when I tried to let go, swing violently in Beat Saber, or threw objects in VR Chat. The only thing that took time to adjust to, was the TouchPad movement for games. I say this because after I adjusted to not using the joy sticks, I was able to stretch my thumb further and would at times roll it when I tried to push a button. This shows a brilliant innovative way to prevent drifting in the future and look forward to using these for more intense games in the future.

Sehr gute Controller
