Great wireless and long battery life
I’ve had an older Hyperx Cloud II for 8 years and it’s still working great. But I wanted a wireless headset and the Cloud Alpha is great for several reasons. It is as comfortable as the old wired one. I can wear it for a 1 or 2 hr meeting comfortably. Colleagues say my voice is crisp clear - not muddled, scratchy, or tinny. So kudos for microphone quality. The sound quality is adequate for meetings… I don’t know how it would be in other situations such as gaming or listening to music. The wireless feature is exactly as I’d hoped with no installation software required. There is an app that you can optionally install but I haven’t needed any features that offers. But I only use the headset for work, not gaming. I haven’t tested the maximum range, but it’s no problem to walk across the room and maintain a good connection. This was a refurbished unit that cost $119 and seems the same as new. I hope these last as long as my other set…thanks HyperX!

Excellent wireless headset
Works great! I've been told the microphone is very crisp. I enjoy that it's wireless. I'm so glad I paid a little extra to purchase this model and would highly recommend it.

Crown jewel of wireless headsets
This is my second one. 300 hours before recharging? Yup - it will go months before needing a refresh. Sound quality - free license for DTS - movies and games sound amazing.Don't want to have an app installed just to use it? Easy enough - you do have to install the app first to apply any updates, then install the DTS sound unbound app for the free license, then configure how you want, uninstall the app, and that's it. If you uninstall when the charge is at 100%, then just remember it will always tell you 100%.

HyperX Cloud Alpha Wireless Gaming Headset
My Comprehensive Review: HyperX Cloud Alpha Wireless Gaming HeadsetThe HyperX Cloud Alpha Wireless Gaming Headset delivers a premium experience that blends comfort, audio quality, and extraordinary battery life, making it a standout choice for PC gamers. Here's an in-depth look at its features and performance:Design and ComfortThe Cloud Alpha Wireless maintains HyperX's signature design with a robust aluminum frame and plush memory foam ear cups. The materials feel premium and durable, ideal for long gaming sessions. The headset is lightweight despite its solid build, and the clamping force strikes a good balance—secure without feeling too tight. The ear cups are spacious, accommodating different ear sizes while providing excellent noise isolation.Audio PerformanceHyperX has outdone itself with the sound quality on this headset. Powered by Dual Chamber Drivers, it delivers a crisp, immersive sound profile. The bass is punchy but not overpowering, mids are clear, and highs are detailed without being harsh. Paired with DTS Headphone:X Spatial Audio, the 3D soundscape enhances the gaming experience, making it easy to pinpoint enemy positions in FPS games or appreciate the immersive environment in story-driven titles.Whether you're gaming or listening to music, the audio performance is consistently impressive. It supports a wide range of frequencies, giving an excellent balance of clarity and depth.Wireless Connectivity and Battery LifeOne of the headset's most remarkable features is its 300-hour battery life, which outperforms nearly all competitors. This means weeks of gaming without needing to recharge, even with daily use. The USB dongle provides a stable and low-latency wireless connection, ensuring there’s no audio delay during intense gaming moments.Microphone QualityThe detachable noise-canceling microphone delivers clear and consistent voice quality, making it great for team communication. It effectively suppresses background noise, ensuring your voice comes through even in noisy environments. However, while the mic is solid for gaming, it might not match the quality of standalone mics for streaming or professional recordings.Software and CustomizationThe HyperX NGENUITY software allows for basic customization, including adjusting the EQ, enabling spatial audio, and monitoring battery life. While the software is straightforward, it lacks some advanced features found in competitors, such as per-application audio profiles or deeper customization options.ConsDespite its many strengths, the Cloud Alpha Wireless isn’t without minor drawbacks. The lack of Bluetooth support limits its versatility outside of PC gaming. Additionally, some users might prefer more customization options in the software.VerdictThe HyperX Cloud Alpha Wireless Gaming Headset is an exceptional choice for PC gamers, particularly those who prioritize comfort, immersive audio, and industry-leading battery life. Its durable build and excellent wireless performance make it a worthy investment, even if it lacks some advanced features like Bluetooth. If you're looking for a high-quality gaming headset that can handle marathon sessions without missing a beat, the Cloud Alpha Wireless is hard to beat.

I can't take them off
They are so comfortable, I wear them to sleep a lot. I can walk to the other side of my house and still hear my pc audio (i did need to do a firmware update through the desktop app though!). I like the audio quality, I can hear bass pretty well and everything sounds clean. The build quality feels durable, I've used them for months with 0 issues. Can't recommend these enough!

Amazing battery life, with a tradeoff of mic quality
I ended up going backwards and getting another headset for my everyday use, but hey, as infrequently as I use these, I may never have to charge them.Pros-Insane battery life-Excellent sound qualityCons-Band makes the headset highly uncomfortable. No more than 6 hours a day or you will get a headache-Mic quality is so bad and quiet it shouldn't even be an optionPoint 1 was a deal breaker, and point 2 made the entire point of them being wireless moot to me, because the sound quality isn't just 'meh,' it's so quiet no one can hear you bad.So I reverted back to Hyperx Cloud for sound/occasional mic (without the metal squeezing parts) and a separate mic.
