I don't like butter on my popcorn. Even at the movies, I get it dry and sprinkle plain salt on it.I used to be able to buy mini bags of micro popcorn. I think Redenbacher made them. I can't find them any more. Not plain, anyway.I wanted to buy a bag of popping corn but couldn't find a corn-popper.My husband doesn't like popcorn and the big micro bags are too big - I'd eat the whole thing.I found these on 'mazon and ordered them. I thought I was getting one but you get two.My micro is over the stove and is 7" tall, so these are just the right size.To use them, pour 1-1/2 tablespoons of dry kernels into the bottom of the cup.It makes about 2 cups of popcorn - just right for ME.Fold the flaps together and fit the small slots together so it stays closed.Micro for 2 minutes, open, pour into a bowl, salt, and dig in.Warning: these cups get pretty hot, so keep a pot-holder or dish-rag handy. When they've cooled off, rinse, air dry, and toss into the cupboard.I don't like buttery popcorn, so I haven't tried to use oil in them. I don't know what would happen if I did.Easy-peasy.

Watch the timing.
Just received this today and decided to try it out. First time was a fail with a lot of the popcorn burnt. Tried again but reduced time to 90 seconds and it was perfect.

Adoreable and perfect for one
I really shouldn't eat a huge bowl of popcorn, this one makes a rational serving. Of course, I can always go back for another batch! The concept is adoreable, and these work really well. They're thick and sturdy enough, I have confidence they'll last a long time.

Too Small
Product size is too small and took too long to pop. Also got extremely hot to the touch. I'll be retuning. Hope this helps.

Caution! Very Hot!
I couldn't seem to get the hang of the right amount to add. It was either too little, or most often, too much. It would make a big mess all over my microwave. My biggest complaint, however, is that they don't really meet the function I bought them for. I thought it would be easier to pop the popcorn and eat it out of the same container and save some dishes. Unfortunately, that isn't really the case, unless you are willing to wait a while for it to cool down before you try to handle them. they get really, really hot, and they take much longer to cool down than my kids are willing to wait. I would recommend a different kind that's not going to burn you, such as the red, glass and plastic microwave popper I use. It's worth the extra dishes.

Personal Goodie
I purchased these little buckets as a gift. I also have two for my home. 1 Tablespoon of popcorn, close the top, and microwave about 2 minutes. Perfect size for several children to share, or one serving. Great for home, but especially good to pop corn at work. No oil or butter or other chemicals. We keep my two going all the time. Plan to give as Christmas gifts.

Pop inside or just use them as individual buckets
These work just fine – although you can not put that many kernels in there and it doesn’t pop too much as the lid closes the thing down to half the size and you can not see the popcorn until you open it. I guess PERFECT for those sticking to portion size. Makes us think how much we are really eating. : ) They do get HOT, though if you use to pop – and then you have to wait to use to serve so they cool down.Personally, I prefer to use my glass microwave popper as I can see the popcorn popping. Also, I can touch the edges directly with my fingers to remove it and remove the popcorn. These silicone ones I prefer to use for the serving and eating of the popcorn. I can fill to the top – put any type of oil or sprinkle a topping or whatever – and eat right out of them. Because they are silicone, they are easy to clean. Also, easy to hold. Get a few and you can totally do movie night right – however you pop your popcorn.I hope that you have found my review “helpful”. : ) Enjoy your day! : )

Love the single serving popcorn
Better to pop corn in microwave than those packaged ones. You can control the salt content and there’s no oil needed. More like air-popped.
