Excellent!
Well worth the money. Put them straight on the guitar as soon as I got them it had fender original die cast tuners so they have the same 2 pins in exactly the same place. So a simple job it will stay in tune better now after eliminating the wraps around the string post. Not any string slippage just make sure you stretch your new strings as you tune and always tune up not down. Holds its tune perfectly.Estimated delivery Saturday as they came. From Belgium however they arrived Thursday.

Fender 990818500 Locking Stratocaster & Telecaster Tuning Machines
This version has the vintage type buttons. I've been playing for a very long time, where I can, I swap out my string-through post tuners, for these locking type. String changes are so much easier, 5 minutes and you're done. The tuners are easy to change over as well, just one 10mm nut to undo and then tighten. Once the strings are inserted through the posts, and locked, there will be no slippage, very stable.

Work excellently. Drop in replacement for modern Fender electrics
Performance is excellent, smooth and very easy to lock the strings.The barrel is 10mm diameter which is a drop in replacement for all modern Fenders but not for the vintage reissues which have 8mm diameter hole. In vintage reissues the hole needs reaming to 10mm and two guide holes drilled. Not a major job but you need experience and the correct tools, if in doubt take to a guitar workshop. I needed to do this for my 52 Hot Rod Tele which is basically and AVRI 52 tele complete with vintage hardware.

Vintage vibe with modern practicality
Decided to not modify a replacement telecaster neck to fit a set of vintage style Kluson tuners, instead went for the vintage button styled modern locking tuners that would drop straight on. Really prefer the rounded buttons with the Telecaster headstock with the tuning stability of the modern design. A little bit more expensive that others but easy to fit & reliable.

Not great quality.
One tuner won't tighten around the string after only a few months. Luckily I held onto the standard tuners.

Permettono maggiore stabilità e cambio corde veloce. Un po' care per avere a differenza delle locking moderne, in pratica solo una manopola in stile vintage.

お手軽取り付け。安定度良し。
アメプロ2のテレキャスターに使用しました。2穴の位置も元のロトマチックペグと同じで、簡単にポン付けできました。はじめてロック式を使用したのですが、、、これは便利なものですね。注意としては、ペグポストの高いものと低いものがありますので、取付位置にだけ気をつけましょう。

Great upgrade for early 90's MIM Strat
I'm very happy with these locking tuners. I purchased a MIM Strat over 30 years ago, It's my favourite guitar, and I've done a lot of upgrades to it, but had never upgraded the tuners. It's tricky to rate "Easy to install" because it all depends on your experience with woodworking and your comfort level with drilling holes in a guitar neck. I did the work myself, and I'm extremely happy with the results. If you're considering upgrading, these are fantastic. Get your local music store to do the work if you're not willing or able to take the risks with installation!

L'articolo è molto ben fatto purtroppo non c'è compatibilità con i fori di squier, provato su due telecaster standard. Per squier è necessario rifare i buchi degli alloggiamenti delle meccaniche.
