Durable Cpap Tubing 6' (Heavy Duty) HCPCS Code: A7037

- There is a peculiar "chemical" smell to the rubber parts that I've not noticed in my previous CPAP hoses. These connectors smell like low-priced automobile tires. I might just be hypersensitive to one or more of the components, but the smell actually nauseates me and leaves a funny taste in my mouth.- Obviously, many other people don't seem to notice it - or it's possible I got a "lemon". But I can't use this with my CPAP.

I always buy two hoses at a time so that I can switch back and forth after cleaning so they have more time to dry and I normally have to replace them in 3-6 months because they get holes in the tubing near the ends. However, I realized today when I figured I better order new hoses since I've had these awhile that I have had them for 2.5 YEARS without a hole. I thought I just replaced them about a year ago. These are very durable and the best ones I have ever tried. They are still in good condition after all of this time.

Although the tubing received will work on ResMed equipment the end caps are not what is featured in the Amazon listing photo. The photo changed to what was actually shipped when it showed on my open orders list.

Although ends of hose are in fact standard and did fit my cpap machine Just be careful as this is not a slimline hose. Diameter surely matters because this does effect air pressure. Otherwise hose looks good but I cannot rate durability because since the diameter of the actual hose was not a slimline I could not use it.

All good. Does the job, good price, what more can I say?

I know that every now and then you need to clean your CPAP tubing.I wanted a backup tube in case my current CPAP tubing got too worn out. So I found this inexpensive tubing, Turns out, it is actually identical to my current tubing.So far, I have not had to replace my tubing. But, it is good to know that I can easily switch.It is durable, quality made, and inexpensive. No need to pay more. I recommend this for anyone using CPAP.

I received tubing from a different manufacturer and it was not a slim-line hose. That's what I ordered and what I wanted.

Exactly what I would have gotten from my medical supply company, except the cost was less than what my insurance copay would have been.
