This was a perfect fit for my 1975 Chevy 350 and was a massive improvement over the worn out unit that was there before. The mechanical advance is a little aggressive so I would recommend getting a set of limiters. Otherwise awesome unit easy install and works great. As for longevity I will update if there are any premature failures.

I had problems with cheaper products trying to save a few bucks. Not worth the ACCEL may be made on China but the specs are tight. For example all the cap plug wire connections are brass and machines after assembly for true co centricity. The timing curve was near perfect, no misses easy starts awesome, highly recommended 1981. Chevy Camaro small block

Used in 1981 GMC Motorhome. Works perfectly but I only have 1000 kms on it. Will let you know more in one year.
