Easy setup
The 3 pack was already interlinked. Very easy to site and install around the home. The battery starts it’s 10 year life once you mount it onto the backing plate. Highly recommend.

Perfect for purpose!
Perfect for purpose and (once I watched the YouTube video) easily linked to the heat alarm I also ordered.Great value for money, great piece of mind, and in keeping with the new Scots legislation for houses and linked smoke/heat alarms.I will likely be ordering more (for another property).Many thanks!

Good product, poor instructions
Delivered on time. Easy to install but challenging to interlinked, largely due to poorly translated instructions. Everything relies on the one button and its not always clear how long to press it to get the desired result.

Great
I have bought these and the compatible carbon monoxide alarm for my parents' bungalow and my daughter's boat she lives on. My daughter's neighbouring liveaboards have bought the same after seeing hers. Great product.

Works perfectly though had some setup issues
Good value and they work perfectly. The only issue I had was with the setup. I couldn't get them to link together initially. They were supposed to talk to each other straight out of the box, but I found I had to follow the process as if they were new devices joining an existing group. Having said that, I bought 3 and they were so good that I bought 3 more.

Two smoke detectors refused to pair to master and the pairing routine is poor
I bought the 3 smoke detector / 1 smoke sector kit along with a single smoke detector as I needed 1 extra unit. From the start I found the pairing routine labourious (press a button on the 'master', wait for three flashes, then when the red led flashes quickly click on the button on the slave, wait for 2 green flashes, then three red flashes and repeat on all the slave units and get it done in 60 seconds or you have to prime the master again - oh for goodness sake there are far better / easier pairing methods!) and after a lot of sweat and toil only 2 of the four smoke detectors actually worked, so back in the box and getting returned to Amazon in tomorrow mornings post - that's if the Royal Mail are actually working tomorrow. Avoid (The alarms, not the royal Mail, although now that I think about it...).

Initially had issues but working exactly as described now.
The alarms are a nice compact design and very easy to fit, unfortunately, no matter how hard I tried, including watching YouTube videos, I could not link the alarms. I have returned them and re-ordered the same alarms, this time they worked straight from the box. Only given 4 stars due to initial fault otherwise would have been 5 stars
