Easy to Install
I am not a car fix-it guy and was concerned as to what might be involved in the replacement of these front hood struts. It was a piece of cake. I literally installed both within 5 minutes. There are no screws/bolts to undo - just a clip to move and then the struts just pop out/in. But if you went to the dealer to have this work done you would pay likely over $100.00 CAD.

Cheap but not quality replacement
Build quality is certainly not up to par with OEM. No issue with installation and weren’t expecting any. Although they are about a quarter inch or so longer than the OEM, therefore sitting with a bit of offset.Upon lifting the hood, there is an annoying scratching noise coming from both cylinders, and the hood jerks while being lifted.You get what you pay for.

Fits perfectly !
The media could not be loaded. No longer need an umbrella to support the hood on my G37!! Price was great and literally took 5 minutes to replace both sides. Encountered no issues.Video is proof :)Highly recommend.

Not quite smooth
Assembly is easy took me less than 10 minutes to replace and install. However, opening and closing hood actions is not smooth and slightly jerky. Hoping it will smooth out later.

Good replacement
Bought to replace worn hood struts on 2009 G37XS sedan. Fast and easy. Tip: removal requires prying clips, installation does not. Just pop them on.
