FoamTouch 10 Yards x 36" Dacron, White

I highly recommend this product. Our couch was getting horrible the coushins were taking the form of our bodys and was really uncomfortable. We crunched the numbers and decided to take a chance on just replacing the coushins in our couch vs replacing the whole couch. And it was cheaper to do the former. Batting was shipped on time and was exactly as described. It came vac sealed and didn't smell when opened. There were wrinkles in the product but after I cut the product to the sizes I needed I sprayed lightly with water. After I put in dryer on low heat for 12 min it perked right up and lost the wrinkles. The coushins look great now (right coushin is before the batting was added). And are very comfortable. The only thing I would do differently is, I would do all the steps to get the wrinkles out and fluff up before cutting as when I pulled out of dryer it gained extra length. The only problem I have now is trying to stay awake when sitting in my living room lol 5 stars!!!

This dacron batting was very helpful as I was attempting to rejuvenate some worn out couch cushions. I found the foam on Amazon as well, and cut new cushions out of it. I covered the new cushions with the original batting that was salvaged, and then covered that with an additional layer of this new dacron batting. The results are fantastic! The cushions finally hold weight again and fill out their covers nicely, as you can see in the photo. The batting was packaged well (tightly in a syran wrap), did not have any odors, arrived quickly, and was easy to smooth out, stretch, and glue into place. I will definitely repurchase when I have to repair more of these cushions.

When it arrived - I unwrapped and gave time to breathe for a day. But it did not help, it was still pressed all over and had a bunch of creases. I put it into dryer, set to low temp and ran it for 45 mins. It got 3 times thicker and also some creases remained, they were no longer a problem as this material stretches a lot. I used it for dining chairs re-upholstery. It adds nice “plushness”. You must use muslin layer on top of dacron if you dont want to hear it scratching over upper layer fabric.

I’m updating the Dacron that I currently have covering six 26”x 26” x 6” cushions and ordered 5 yards which I calculated would cover 3, which it did with a couple of inches to spare. Affixed using gorilla glue spray adhesive and they slid easily into the covers filling out the corners nicely. There’s a nice little spring and comfort to the cushions now. Really happy with this product and will order another 5 yards in a couple of weeks to finish the project. Shipping was 3 days earlier than promised, which was an appreciated bonus.

This is honestly one of THE WORST products I've ever purchased from Amazon.The Dacron is cut so uneven and haphazardly that the measurements are not as quoted in the product description.To add insult to injury, the fibers are so inconsistently dispersed that many of the areas are too thin to use for an upholstery project. I now have a deadline I'm going to miss because I am stuck trying to find a different Dacron to finish the job.I can not even recommend this product to line the bottom of a birdcage; the only thing it is suitable for is the dumpster. This should have NEVER left the manufacturer floor, let alone made it to my door. 😔

I used this batting when I replaced the cushions in my couch. It worked perfectly. Very pleased and I highly recommend this product.

Recently used this to make new upholstered seats for our formal dining room chairs. Cut plywood seats, added foam pad wrapped in this then stapled upholstery fabric over top.. turned out great! This product enabled a quality, professional looking finish to the seats.
