Paint comes off!!!!
They sent us two different kinds from entirely different companies. 2 boxes from China, 5 boxes from Taiwan. The finishes were entirely different. Taiwan ones were matte black, which we wanted, China ones were more shiny black and had scratches and differences in paint application. Install was easy, but we bought connectors from another company and had to put a bit of silicone in the tubes before applying to keep them from rattling. First heavy rain and the paint came off a few - so not impressed. It looks like it may be excess powder from inside the tube??? Maybe spraying them out before install would help?Obviously we’re not going to change them now, but we are not happy. Still have our stair rails to do and waiting to see if they send us the matching ones from Taiwan. We returned the other Chinese-made ones.

They are Excellent, better than Lowe’s
My dad asked me to get these for building our deck because they’re much easier to install than the drill a hole ones ..Home Depot and Lowe’s didn’t have these on website (this length 32 1/4) which is a standard size for deck railing. My order from Home hardware got cancelled without explanation so had to order from Amazon.It’s metal not aluminum, you won’t even know the difference in aesthetic. I guess it’s heavier and cheaper. It’s super durable you can tellSooo easy to install you just drill screw (included) in to attach. Saved us time and we installed in 2 hours! Thin and not Weldable, but Decent Product
I was/am using these as spindles but also I'm using them to help cross brace some stairs. As spindles, they do what they are supposed to do and they look just like advertised. Good value for money. As supports, since I tried to weld them, they were too thin and I just burned through them. I found a work-around by adding steel into the hollow cross-sections, so that I could get them to act as braces, but.... stick to their intended use and they are fine!

for shallow angle stairs only
Bought these for a regular stair inline (30-35 degrees) and they were way off. The angle is for a very shallow stair. (low slope) Buyer Beware!

Easily Split
I just replaced all of the rails on my deck using these quick connects, they went on easy but found out quickly that applying too moderate torque when tightening will split the plastic baluster. Suggest that when purchasing always buy extra as you will need them.
