Grind is an exquisite and scrumptious read. The reader is taken on an incredible roller coaster ride filled with action and suspense. Grind has steamy and passionate chemistry and scenes between Dane and Irina. Yum! It features a power and dominate alpha male named Dane. Grind is the 3rd book in the Thrust Series. Each book can be read as a standalone. Dane is a male escort and hitman. He performs both jobs phenomenally and will exceptional skill. 'Wink!' Dane lives a fairly lonely existence with only his dog Hunter by his side. Dane likes his privacy and his space. One night Dane comes home to find that he has a house guest. He knows from the start that she needs help. Dane is loyal to his friends & military buddies. He is very protective and possessive of Irina. Dane is also a dirty talking, sexy as hell alpha male. Dane has reasons why he is male escort and rules that he always follows. Irina is an abused and beaten woman. Her husband is a wealthy and powerful Russian Mobster. He controls Irina in every way. She is a submissive, but her husband mistreated her and her trust. His control had gone on for so long that Irina has become cold and shut down to protect herself. As she spends time with Dane, Irina finds her inner strength and determination. Irina will do what she thinks that she has to protect those that she cares about. Irina and Dane learn about love, trust and what is important to them. Will they find love and a happily ever after? Grind is an outstanding book that will have the reading falling in love with Dane and Irina. I know that I sure did. I loved the chemistry between them and all the white hot scenes. I am now a huge fan of Sybil Bartel. I can't get enough of a dirty talking alpha male, who will do anything for his woman. The reader will not be disappointed with Grind. I highly recommend this book. I loved Dane’s story! This character had appeared in many of Sybil’s books which made me very curious about him. Irina was a character that first appeared in Alex’s story. When I realized that she was going to be Dane’s romantic interest I wasn’t sure that I could connect with her based on what I read about her in the previous book. I was so wrong! Irina ended up being one of my favorite heroines ever! I don’t want to spoil the plot for anyone, so all I’m going to say is that there is so much more going on behind the scenes than was offered in her previous appearance in Alex’s story. This story is action packed with tons of romance. You’ll love the storyline and will fall in love with the characters.

Loved Dane's story! Great addition to the series! His story was hot, action packed and had me reading straight through. Dane is a swoon worthy alpha male with a dog to boot. I like seeing Dane change along with Irina throughout. I can't wait for the next man to be taken down by a woman in the series.

OMG, I LOVED this book. I really can't get enough of this author's stories. I've loved each book in this series and Grind certainly didn't disappoint. Dane is not only hot and sexy and the perfect alpha male. He's strong, powerful and lethal. Irina didn't win me over in Thrust but learning her back story and what she's endured made me come to love her and admire her. Her and Dane together was so hot and sexy. Such an emotional ride for the pair of them as he helps to heal her and she brings some life and colour to him. I couldn't put this book down. I was glued to my kindle until the end. I enjoyed catching up with some of the characters from Sybil Bartel's other books. Of course Grind had everything I expect from her books. Hot alpha men, steamy scenes, a lot of emotion and suspence that kept me on the edge of my seat and at times forgetting to breathe. Brilliant read.

Of the three Alpha Escort series books, I found Grind to be the most intense and captivating. What's not to love? A stoic problem solver with his ever faithful K9 companion, a Russian mobster's wife on the run and a white hot romance make Grind a book that's hard to put down. Dane Marek is a loner, sometimes escort and a fixer (think assassin.) Irina Feorov is on the run from her husband and temporarily staying at Dane's house. Walking in and finding her in a somewhat compromising position tells him everything he needs to know about her. Learning her story has him setting out to gain her freedom. He'll need more than his talents and capabilities to be succesful though. Enter Angel Luna and his team plus Neil Christensen. It's an all out team effort despite Dane's stubborn determination to go go it alone. Giving Irina choices is the bottom line. Fortunately, she chooses him.

This book had quite an exciting and action packed storyline; would never guess something like this for Dane. I really liked the addition of Hunter. The series should be made audiobooks! Will eventual read remaining spin-off books in series.

Hot and sexy. Deadly. I could hyperventilate just thinking about this book. So good! Dane is an amazing alpha hero, and Irina is an excellent match with her own strength. This book moves fast and keep you wanting more. Avoid spoilers and jump in. I highly recommend this book, and letting the storyline surprise you. Sybil's characters draw you in & you want to learn more about what made them who they are. I love how characters from other books in the series fit together & how their paths cross in each story. Can't wait for Andre next!

I’d have to say Sybil has a way of capturing my attention right away, which is exactly what you want out of a book. You want to be captivated, intrigued, pulled into the book and not wanting to put it down! Grind is all that and more… Irina is a strong woman that was mislead at a young age by her mother and got her caught up in a life she didn’t deserve. Dane is an ex-marine and a guy that likes to live a solo life until he sees Irina and then he becomes completely captivated by her. His intense feelings mixed with her defence mechanisms for protecting her heart makes for a sexy romantic story of two broken souls coming together in perfect unity, they couldn’t be more perfect for each other, they are truly destined! And as a dog lover I particularly love that Hunter falls in love with Irina just as hard if not harder than his owner. This book is filled with drama, violence, lots of sex and love.

Finally we get Dane's story! I was really excited to read this and I was not disappointed. This begins from the time Alex (Thrust) drops one of his former clients (Irina) off at Dane's property. Poor Irina is not what she seems, not the spoiled rich girl Alex thought she was, she's trying to escape an abusive husband. The problem is he's a very dangerous man and won't give Irina up easily. The question becomes can Dane and Irina find enough trust in each other to find freedom from their current lives? I will give a warning though, this story is not for the faint of heart. There are some very confronting issues to deal with, especially Irina's story. This is very different from the two previous books but well worth the read. I know I couldn't put it down!
