This is so funtional and easy to use. I really love the smaller cubes in your drinks. The tray is big enough for 2 rounds of the ice cubes easily. I wish I had a bigger frdge/freezer as I would have purchased a few more as so handy to have in the home in case you have a big party, maybe in the future.

It's perfect. So easy to use, makes great sized ice (not too big, not too small). It's really easy to pop the ice out of the tray, one twist of the tray snaps them out and then you just dump them all into the tray which is very convenient. MAKE SURE TO FILL CORRECTLY. There's little lines that separate the cubes, just fill the water up to the top and dump out till it's under the line where it tells you to. There's a lot of people here saying that it's tough to remove the ice but I suspect it's because they're filling it up too much.I use this in tandem with my large OXO ice cube tray. This gives me nice small sized cubes I can use for all sorts of nice drinks and cocktails, and having the tray with the scooper makes adding the ice to drinks very easy. Also since the top closes up you can put stuff on top of it without worrying about it getting in the ice. Trust me, use this!! Especially if you're using standard old-school ice trays.

Scooping ice is fun! If you're someone who likes ice with your drinks (I'm routinely making soda stream beverages), then refilling the ice tray is basically a daily job. Smaller cubes + bin + scoop is a way to reduce some of that tedium, and build up a larger reserve of cubes.Only thing I'd suggest to be weary of is that it's not quite as easy to torque cubes loose as it is with a traditional two row tray, and I find it's a bit tricky to get them out from the tray and into the bin. It helps not to over-fill the tray, so that the cubes don't freeze together (although a bit easier said then done). I find the best approach is twist the tray while holding it upside down directly over the bin, but you have to be careful to hold it in an exact position, because the tray is the exact same size as the bin (the tray can double as a lid for the bin). A bit of practice and it's fine, all in all I'm pretty happy with the purchase.

I have used this for about 2 days now and so far it is a great little ice cube maker. The ice cubes come out easily from the trays, the storage container with the scoop is very convenient, and the lids that go on top of the trays are great for preventing spills in the freezer. I see me using these for a long time.
