Cheap and easy
I'm not really sure what you could complain about for the money. I needed the cheapest mount possible to temporarily hold a gauge before I could get a gauge pillar in place. This worked great, and I thought it was good enough to mount permanently if I wanted to. It's actually thicker than the gauge pillar material. Nice thing about it being thin is you could easily cut it to shape for an odd shaped dash. Just saying.

Well worth the money.
Nice product, very thick plastic. I added a switch to the side and was surprised at the strength of this housing. There was plenty of room for the switch and extra wiring. I would buy again if needed

Being at the age I am, I've learned ANYTHING plastic if not painted will degrade and by design due to a lack of a chemical that UV stabilizes plastics. Just consider greenhouse plastic covers. So I painted it a gray I wanted and all is well. Kind of wish there were 4 holes for screws though.

Made well, does the job.
Made well for the price. The long housing covers the installation hole and wires. Made large enough around the gauge hole you can install the pinch ring on the back of the gauge to keep it tight. Works for me, would buy again.

It works
It is what it is, used it on my boat to hold the temp gauge. Looking to buy another to mount a tach. Wish it would have come with screws but I would have had to replace them with stainless steel anyway.

Bought it to mold it into the upper column shell. Sturdy plastic, so it's better to use as part of a retrofit and cut it to your desired shape, than use it as a standalone piece. I mean, where exactly would you even mount it as an original complete piece and how?
