Switch Battery Charger Case, Antank Portable Switch Backup Battery Pack 6500mAh Extended Travel Power Bank for Switch 2017

It arrived ontime. Had a full battery charge right out of packaging. After the that it wouldn't charge and it would make the switch turn off. Had it for three days, wouldnt recommend.

This battery adds much needed additional play time to the Switch with a better kickstand than that which comes on the Switch. The single leg kickstand which is built into the Switch is not terribly stable and only has one position, this battery gives you two kickstands with three positions. I use my Switch on airplanes all the time and the movement of the plane often resulted in the Switch falling with the single kickstand, that problem is gone with this battery. The battery also includes a compartment for storing two Switch games. The charging port is on the side which means that you can have it plugged in while it is in use. For the amount of additional play time this adds, the additional weight seems very reasonable.

Battery got swollen after a few weeks. I had to throw it away so I didn't risk it destroying my switch!Even before the battery swelling it didn't fit my switch just right. Using it was making the charge port loose on my console.

Ok. I had to leave a new review.First, I have no problem with the charging. I plug the usb-c into the outlet, then the battery pack. Boom, over night, fully charged.Second, and this surprised me, it was able, on a full charge, to get my battery from 15%->100%. On the new switch battery(4.5-9hrs). So this greatly lengthens my gaming time. Still bulky, but I never, if rarely, play handheld with the pack on.

The standard Nintendo Switch dock output is 2.5amps. This battery packs outputs to the Nintendo Switch at 1.5amps. Thus causing the Nintendo Switch to slowly drain its battery while playing, even with this battery pack fully charged. So you can play for an extra hour then your Nintendo Switch will run out of battery then you have to wait for this battery pack to charge it up again.Also, I am noticing some heavy scarring from the latch that holds the Nintendo Switch in place, it is weaking and I can already tell this will not hold onto my Nintendo Switch for more than a few more months. Another thing to note is that when releasing the clamp, the game cartridge door pops open and the cartridges fall out each time I get my Nintendo Switch out.It works for what I need it for.

I purchased this at least twice. Both times it broke with in a month or two because young kids don't understand how to take the game off of the device without bending the input plug. So if you buy this for a child I recommend close supervision. It would probably be fine for adult use.

This is a great battery case. It is a bit bulky overall but i feel like any battery pack for your switch wont fit the same way your switch fits in the case. Overall it's great, especially if you just need it for a portable thing with your controllers because it also has a nice stand integrated into it. Charging is a bit odd because it sits on the side in a spot where if the joycons are attached it slightly blocks but overall the layout for everything is decent.The only thing I'd want to change is for a larger battery and/or a smaller overall footprint. I'm sure in time it'll get to that though.

I've had this plugged in now for 2 days and it wont charge. It seems either hit or miss, people love theirs when it works and for others (like me) it is complete garbage. I'm going to return this.
