Myy th Bible study group is truly enjoying this journey. I suggest it highly especially for group study.

I was baptized as catholic in May but still had a lot of questions, even though I was learning a lot from Mass so I was looking on Amazon and found this book by Fr. Pacwa, OMG it is a game changer. I love it and it is so easy to read, I work at my own pace, and pull scriptures up in the bible and write things down as I need to. I would recommend this to anyone, young or old, you will love it. After I received this one I actually went back in and purchased two more of his books.

This book helped introduce me to the Bible. I have not studied it extensively, and this was a good starting point to understand. Good for RCIA classes.

I have only just begun reading the book but what I like the most is that I feel as if I am reading lessons from a modern day saint. I watch Father Mitch Pacwa on EWTN mostly during Scripture and Tradition but also sometimes during the daily Mass and I have always enjoyed his knowledge and intelligence and I am very delighted that he brought that with this book. I have read a lot of Christian books and most of the time there is a language barrier or a translation problem because the book was written a hundred or more years ago. I think people will really enjoy this and any other book that Father Mitch Pacwa puts together.

One of the greatest things to happen to me this year was discovering the teachings of Father Mitch. I watch Father Mitch on EWTN, listen to his podcasts, and am reading this book, as well as them all. I highly recommend his teachings. He is a great scholar, apologist, and servant of our Lord.

Great Bible Study to go along with the Bible readings. Father Pacwa does a very nice job explaining in layman's terms the readings, in addition, to giving added information. One wants to learn even more as he makes it very interesting. Father Pacwa is very knowledgeable in what he teaches. I plan on buying more of his books.

Fr. Pacwa is very thorough. After going through it with a parish bible study I know that what the church teaches is very scriptural. It is full of bible quotations that you look up that support and elucidate the main ideas.

My mother is a Mennonite, and father a Catholic. While I was raised as a Protestant, I bought this book to broaden my perspective. Certainly the barriers between the have eroded over time, and the author points out that some of the deepest divides are entirely unnecessary. I recommend this book to those of both, as well as neither, persuasion. It will help you expand your perspective and, I hope, find peace.

Great for bible study

If you want to learn from one of the Greatest Biblical scholars this is it. There is no better a chance to understand what been saved as a Christian really means.

In these days when almost every new book - and many older ones as well - has a Kindle format as well as being in print, it is truly surprising that this pivotal book on a most crucial question for Catholics is not available in a machine readable version.This effectively prevents blind people from reading it, since Alexa will narrate Kindle books, utilizing text-to-speech technology called Kindle Assistive Reader.I have wanted very much to read this book for several years, and I keep checking its listing on Amazon to see if a Kindle version is yet available but alas this still has not occurred.I don't know how else to bring this ahem, 'oversight' to the attention of those who can do something about it, other than to give the book the poorest possible rating - which it certainly does not deserve - and to give the above explanation as the reason for this 1 Star review.Please Amazon, permit this review so that the right people can be informed about how the lack of Kindle format so abusively disenfranchizes the blind community.
