This is an absolutely gorgeous sketchbook! The cover is so soft, sturdy, and well made. The little quote on the inside was lovely and appropriate without being "cutesy" (not that that's necessarily bad... but...) And the pages are smooth and perforated. The pages also lay flat without any ominous creaking of the spine.I bought this primarily to paste in fragments of watercolor paper and ideas, to record notes and sketches and colors, etc. It is perfect for my purpose - though I did make the mistake and use normal ol' Elmer's glue to stick in the pages, and the paper warped pretty badly. (I switched to using glue dots, and they're perfect.)I use micron pens (both sepia and black), and have noticed no bleeding or smudging or smearing, which is great.The feel of this book is what gets me. It just FEELS so good in the hand; the size/shape is perfect for me - I love the square format, and it just makes me want to take it around with me everywhere and use it for sketching, journaling random ideas, commonplace notes, etc.It's just gorgeous. I love it. So, obviously, I do recommend this to someone looking for a special carry-along for creativity and mementos.

Love this book. The thick pages are great. However, caution if using alcohol markers. There is still some bleed through but it's not bad at all. It serves the purpose that I purchased it for. I love the fact that I can tear out pages if needed also.

I use these sketch books for Zentangle. The paper is really good quality and very smooth. Regular sharpie and Micron type pens do not bleed through. I use Ohoh markers to color my work. They bleed through a little, but I use a silicone mat between sheets as not to bleed on to the next page. I have purchased 4 of these.

I love this book. Good quality for drawing and colored pencil. One of my favorite sketchbooks so far. I've also used the previous one for painting, and the paper thickness is right for it.

This is a high quality notebook and I use it for scrapbooking and junk journaling. I love the band that comes with it to keep it closed. Buying a second one for when I complete this one

Great book, good quality, but in construction as well as the pages themselves, would (will) purchase this again.

Love this little 2 back of journals. They are the size and quality that I was looking for. I love the quality of the cover and the pages within. The only reason that I didn't give them 5 stars was because I don't care for the perforated pages, as I have no plans to tear out pages. They are great for sketching, doodling, zentangle. I am using one for my bkack and white doodles and one that will be colorful.

The size is great I got the medium. The smoothness is great and the quality all together. I only use pencil on it so far will only eventually do pen but the pages are a good thickeness and I love the little message it came with on the inside, it's so cute!
