It worked right out of the box and instructions for setup very clear. I lost or broke the first remote to this TV, don’t remember exactly but i have gotten a few replacements that were not good. Reaction time slow and not sturdy. This remote does feel light but not necessarily cheap. I think it is the closest to the original i have gotten as far as button layout and reliability. The remote reaction time was perfect after i “paired it “ by holding down the back arrow button and play/pause button at the same time for a few seconds until on screen instructions appeared. Also my granddaughter dropped the remote and the batteries fell out. After putting the batteries back into the remote the buttons were slow to react. I worried at first but remembered the pairing. A quick google search, (actually perplexity) and I just “re-paired” it by the same method. The buttons are quick as lightning again! I really should review the few i bought before this one. They were so slow.

Worked right out of the box!! Buttons are programmed exactly like the original remote for our 2 tcl tvs. No pairing needed or adding of new remote, slap some batteries in and you are set to go. Original remotes buttons started wearing out, tried several batteries and concluded the remotes had seen better days.

The irony, I bought these replacements because the other remote started acting up and I felt two would be good because I ALWAYS misplace these tiny remotes. Well, the old remote started working again but now I can't find the second remote that came in the pack. Oh well, the point is these were exactly what I needed worked instantly no set up like the old school remotes. The buttons were different than the original remotes buttons but it doesn't matter to me at all. These have like a matter finish on the back whereas the original was smooth but I did drop it a lot so this is better. I would purchase again if needed.

No glowing buttons. Remote worked on samsung tv but voice control does not work. There's nothing additional in this remote which was not already there in the original TV remote. Not worth buying.

Vous pouvez donc l'utiliser pour remplacer une télécommande perdue, ou pour mieux organiser votre salon et éviter de devoir laisser 3 télécommandes sur votre table, celle-ci vous permettra de les remplacer! La programmation est assez facile si vous avez l'habitude avec les télécommandes universelles. Essentiellement, à partir de la liste de codes, identifiez le type d'appareil et ensuite trouvez la marque. Dans certains cas vous aurez plus d'un code alors il vous faudra parfois plus qu'un essai. Appuyez sur SETUP, ensuite l'un des 3 boutons de controle (TV, STR ou AUD) et ensuite entrez le code. Si vous n'arrivez pas à contrôler votre appareil, simplement refaire ces étapes avec le code suivant de la liste. Vous n'êtes pas limité à ce qui est écrit sur les boutons (TV, STR, AUD), vous pourriez contrôler 3 téléviseurs différents, dites-vous que ce sont 3 appareils "A, B, et C". J'aime particulièrement le fait que cette télécommande intègre la bouton "eject" car ce ne sont pas toutes les télécommandes universelles qui l'offrent, c'est donc particulièrement utile dans le cas des lecteurs DVD/Blu ray. Je constate par ailleurs que la liste de code est identique à la liste CL5 de Jasco alors vous n'avez pas à vous inquiéter si vous perdez la feuille, elle se retrouve en ligne! (Je n'ai pas inspecté toutes les lignes, mais d'un coup d'oeil rapide entre les deux listes, les codes sont les mêmes!)

This remote is a perfect universal replacement for lots of TVs. My old Toshiba TV needed a remote and this did the trick. The instructions are on the ad and not the paper included that has all the codes. You press and hold SETUP 3 seconds until the red light turns on solid. Then press the desired device (Tv, STR, or AUD) and the red light will flash. Then quickly enter the code for your device (start at the top of the list for your brand and work your way down). The code is automatically saved. Press the volume up or down to confirm and then try the other buttons to be sure. If some of the main functions like INPUT or MENU do not work, you will have to repeat the steps with the next number on the list and so on. I assume you have to do this every time you change the batteries, so consider emailing yourself the instructions or writing them on the back of the battery door with the 4 digit code that worked. This is a nice, thin remote with all the buttons I need for my TV. The buttons are rubberized, soft and responsive. The size is perfect. Most universal remotes are huge. This one is the length of my hand. The buttons are compact together, but they are not small. It was easy to set up and works just as it should. A++
