Outstanding solution to prevent frozen outside faucets

I made the decision to replace all of my hose bibs around the house with Aquor hydrants a few years ago and have been very happy with the outcome since. No more worrying about seals breaking, small leaks, or bibs freezing over during the winter.This part in particular is the one you will want to get if you have a V1 hydrant (where the hydrant is the smaller circular shaped version). The V2 hydrant has built in backflow prevention so does not necessarily need this connector, however this connector will work just fine with a V2 hydrant and adds an additional backflow prevention layer. This adapter is also much easier to grip and turn due to its larger circumference, which to me is a good reason to get it even for a V2 hydrant if the regular connectors prove to be a little fussy. Additionally, it can be added further up the hose line with an Aquor quick connector if needed. If for example, I am adding water to a pond, I can use this at the other end of the hose to prevent pondwater from being pulled back into the main hose line.Overall, this adapter works exactly as expected, and is durable like I have come to expect from Aquor. The plastic is high grade polymer and will not bend, break, or deform easily. That said, it is still possible to damage the connector end if pushed too hard into a hydrant against the hydrant's guide bars. I have one of these in my kit where this has happened and has left a small nick in the plastic. But overall, it still works just fine and likely will for decades to come.

So far so good. The first one we received over a year ago exploded due to the extreme cold. We ordered one a couple of months ago, but it had been used—we tried it anyway. Received a replacement immediately.

If you know Aquor, then you know a great system that has revolutionized driveway watering, artisanal gardening and life in general. Never any reason to fuss or worry about your spigots, sill cocks or whatever you call them—they're as obsolete as a fossil car in the Tesla era.That said, the CN-VB2 is the ergonomic, vacuum breakered version of their more traditional connector (pictured for comparison; it is marginally different in length as well).Sure, it's redundant to have the vacuum breaker on their house hydrant that already includes one, but it's also nice to have the ergonomics of a larger grip surface.I look forward to using it too its fullest when the weather breaks. By the way, manufacturing is flawless as usual. This seems to be the genuine article and not a knockoff.

Picked this up as a spare to the one included with my Aquor House Hydrant V1. One side threads to your hose and the other twists into your Aquor hydrant. Nice to have a second if you've got multiple hoses or other accessories that would make changing between them a chore. Quality is great; easy quarter twist to start flow and includes a vacuum break for the V1 hydrants that don't have that built in. Really enjoy the Aquor system for the simplicity and design over a standard spigot.
