Unboxing: The box is a branded, white box that slides open similarly to the apple watch series 3 box. Inside the box you are greeted by the printer, held in place by some rather high-quality foam to protect the printer during shipping. Included in the box you get the printer, a high-quality cloth carrying bag for protecting the printer, a USB C to USB A cable, instruction manuals and a USB thumb drive including the drivers required for use on MacOS and Windows. Setting up: Setting the printer up is extremely easy. On iPhone all you have to do is scan the QR code on top of the printer, download the app, connect to the printer, and print what you want. Setting up on Windows is slightly more difficult. You need to either download the drivers off the included USB thumb drive or you can type in the link on top of the printer which will take you to a website where you can download the most up to date driver available. Once you go through the setup for the drivers, all you need to do is plug the printer into the computer and click print on the app you are using. Printing and quality: The print quality is great for text, and I was surprised at how well it can print photos in black and white. The print speed is quick and similar to the speed of a standard inkjet printer. This printer is great for a home office or on-the-go. Battery life is great, you can print quite a lot of sheets before it runs out of energy. This printer, being phomemo, will most likely be very reliable. No need to worry about paper jams or the printer roller lines that most laser or inkjet printers eventually develop. The printer feels high quality and well put together, even compared to a similar priced printer from another manufacturer. The battery life lasts a long time with use. The small form factor is great for backpack portability.

This printer is a game changer and a marvellous piece of kit. I have only had it less than 24 hours but am amazed at the quality of the print - particularly with photos. Sure it only prints in black and white but it does amazingly well. Of course the quality of the photo itself is important as that will affect the outcome of the print out, that goes without saying. The app is simple to use and gives prompts to help you with connecting to your printer and printing. It is very straightforward with no hoops to jump through. The app, however will only allow connection with one Bluetooth device at a time so if you're switching between tablet and phone you will need to disable Bluetooth on the device you are not using. Having to use a cable to connect to a laptop is a small price to pay when the printer is so handy. All-in-all I would highly recommend this printer - lightweight, portable and more than capable of any printing I would need it for.

I’m a big fan of Phomemo thermal printers, I have a label maker and a photo printer from them and can’t fault them. I use them in home organisation and arts and crafts. Due to my job, I often need to print an invoice or a standardised letter on the go. For reasons beyond the scope of this review, digital copies are not permitted. So I was keen to find a way to be able to print a page or two every so often without having to go back to the office and printing and then sending through the post. So for me this was a worthwhile purchase. Pros - Good size and comes with a velvet carry pouch, which is a nice touch. It’s a bit heavy but not to the point that it compromises on portability. - Print quality is decent for text and simple logos. I printed a test page and was actually quite impressed. - Prints very quickly. - As a thermal printer, it doesn’t require ink which is undoubtedly the most costly aspect of running a regular printer. - It connects seamlessly to my iPhone and my laptop. The iOS app is quite easy to use and it offers a lot of options and some fun graphics. Cons - Only prints in black and white. - It is quite fiddly to get the paper straight but you get the hang of it eventually. So far I have gotten the paper at an ever so slight angle a couple of times but the printer didn’t jam -the print was just slightly off. - Thermal paper is quite expensive. - You can only print on one side of the paper. Overall, I think that if you have a use for it, it is a great solution. Personally, I bought a bundle of 100 sheets of paper for around £20 and they will probably last me a year or two as I will use it sparingly. Without the need for ink, the running costs are on par with a regular, non-portable printer. The price of the printer itself is on the high side, but it is a quality product and one of the few offerings in the market right now.

Brilliant piece of kit. Attached to WiFi really easily. Easy to work and understand. Download app and away you go. Unfortunately no colour print available but I only need it for labels and odd list and letters. Pretty sturdy built unit light wieght. Make sure you buy the correct paper. Carry case is smart and protective would advise buying unit with case. Functions with out fuss so far so good

The gadget is the perfect size to take with you anywhere in the lovely case it comes with. I had also bought the paper printer holder which is an accessory that holds the paper for you which if you’re like me who can't put a single sheet of paper straight will come out wonky. You'll need to download the app (which is also super cool by the way,with lots things you can do from like customising) and make sure that your phones Bluetooth is switched on. From the app you can print off any document of your choice. The connection between the phone, app and the device was instant and very smooth. So yeah 5 stars!

It does make good looking stencils, HOWEVER- standard A4 paper, which is the size that most stencil paper is, does not fit in this machine and is too wide. The app is very annoying to use because it is filled with ads and you have to pay for a subscription to get the ads turned off. also, the sizing feature is very confusing to use and not accurate.

I bought this for my granddaughter who has grown and interest in tattooing. The printer prints up to 8x11.5 stencils with extreme accuracy and even the finest of details come out clear and sharp. The printer also comes with software that allows you to modify and size of the stencil, and allows you to place multiple stencils within the same page print. The batteries life isn't perfect and I would recommend connecting a USB charger brick to the unit to keep the printer up and running so that you don't get stuck in the middle of a multi print job. In addition to the printer, I also bought plenty of paper, ink needle packs of various sizes and fake skin to practice on. She was delighted! She is now doing tattoos for people using the stencils, and they come out stunning. Much much better than freehand. Watch for this and other mentioned items before black Friday or any Amazon prime deal days, you'll save almost 50%.

Bought this cause the „high quality one“ from the tattoo shop was not affordable for me. Was impressed how good it works. The example I‘ve printed was really small and detailed, used some tape to remove the ink in the darker areas to get the exact design. Using it for a few weeks now and I am more than happy. Battery lasts long, simple to use, good stencil quality and definitely a good price compared to similar products.

Printer does not print. at all I connect ed to laptop and used printing paper comes wiz printer and installed it's program it's site and it takes paper but no print blank paper

Simple et rapide impression sans tracas d'ancre ou de bourrage de papier ou de mechanique complexe et qui brisent vous metter la feuille scanner le code qr et hop une impression de qualiter professionnel et a moindre cout vien meme avec quelque feuille pour tester l'appareil. Seul point l'appareil gagnerai a avoir un revetement en aluminium parcequ'un revetement en plastique sa s'echappe une foi et c'est briserer et je parle meme pas des possible choc en voyage ou si vous trimballer appareil avec vous, un etui de protection est recommander ou sont emballage d'origine peut faire. Sans compter que tout l'appareil est en plastique des rouage juaqu'au revetement a voir si cette appareil est durable. Sinon j'adore cette imprimante je la recommande fortement pour un usage normal et pas intensif c'est du bon plastique mai je cerai surpri si sa dure pour un usage quotidien intensif a voir.
