Leather Nomad, Field Notes Cover (3.5 x 5.5 in.) with Card Slots (Notebook Not Included) Refillable Protective Storage for Journal, Full Grain Leather, Handmade, Bourbon Brown

It's a litter larger than other Notes Covers for this size Field Notebook. I guess for the credit card slots. Anyway I still like it a lot. My only disappointment is that the pen holder is close to the top of the cover instead of middle so any pen that is not slim will not work, it would stick out the top. Also I wanted to use with a nice pen and it being thick leather it really stretches the pen's clip too far. I did find a work around to stretch the leather a tiny bit to accommodate the pen's clip being inside the pen loop. A little bit thinner leather for the pen would be perfect, also a little bit shorter and the pen clip will pass the bottom end of the loop and not stretch, still I made it work. Pictures show: a larger in diameter will not work, a slim pen with the clip inside can work, the last picture shows the thickness of the pen loop so you can see how far it will stretch your clip (too far) and could damage the pen clip. I still really like it. Would definitely be a five star and more versatile if design change was made.

Product as described - has done the job for me - holds notepads and cards, etc.... Although pen often slips out of the pen holder
