This SAMPAR foaming cleanser does a nice job cleaning your face, but there is no way I would universally recommend this to everyone.The tube is of the standard fare - soft and squeezable with a flip cap. The cap is large enough that it will support the weight of the tube as it stands upright in the shower. It says it's made in France.It's easy to squeeze the cleanser out in controllable doses because the cleanser is creamier than I expected. The description says it's a foaming cleanser, but that's a stretch. You can work it up into a lather on your fingertips, but it's nothing like a foaming hand soap because it remains somewhat thick even after you lather it up. It's easy to spread all over your face and it does feel like it gets your face clean. I've been using it morning and night for nearly a week now and I think it does a nice job. I only have mildly sensitive skin, and I haven't had any reactions or splotchiness after using the cleanser.I don't really have a problem with this cleanser not truly being foamy because it still does a good job cleaning your skin. However, this thing has a powerful scent. For some people it will be a good morning soap to wake you up. If you wash your face before bed with this stuff I'm not sure it will have a calming effect for you. The scent is strong because there is a lot going on. For me personally, though, I really smell the clove. My god, that's a lot clove. I know there is a lot of other stuff in there, but to my nose the clove just dominates the other scents. You're going to have to be ok with a daily cleanser that brings the smell. Daily. Heavy. Clove-y.The bottom line is that this cleanser does a good job of, you know, cleansing so I can still give it a good rating since person taste in scents is subjective. But I could have done with like 93% less essence of clove.

I like this face cream it does foam somewhat, you really do not need to use a lot just a little drop for it to work for your whole face. There is a nice sent with it, I have sensitive skin and usually products with fragrance can give me a rash, this did not, although I’m not saying it couldn’t happen to someone else. It left my face feeling refreshed and smooth. I use it in the night to remove my make up and then in the morning for a refresher! I would recommend this, it is not a bad face cream and since you only need to use a small amount I image it can last some time.

I look forward to using this cleanser every day because it leaves my skin so smooth! It’s very gentle but does a great job cleansing. The tube is a great size and a little product goes a long way!

Full disclosure: I don't use this daily, but I do use this if I've been doing a lot of physical work and feel extra gross when it's time for a shower. It works perfectly to wash my face, maybe one of the better ones I've used since I have an extremely oily complexion as I didn't have a "rebound" after like I usually do.The one thing that will be a hit or miss for people? The smell. It smells a bit like the wood of a display table in a gift shop that sells primarily folksy and/or Christmas knick-knacks. I have no other way to describe it, really. Woody, sweet, but something else that I can't put a finger on. It's definitely not a scent that I would actively seek out. But since the cleanser works, I'm not complaining.

fantastic for breakouts

I wanted to try this cleanser because it specifically is made for those with oily/combination skin, and I don't like other cleansers that strip your face to take off your makeup and "cleanse" your face. This is a thick creamy cleanser which lathers well and easily in your hands and on your face. It removed all my makeup, even my tough waterproof mascara. I was pleasantly surprised at how well it removed my mascara without it stinging my eyes. As much as I close my eyes shut and try not to get any cleanser in my eyes, it's not possible when removing waterproof mascara thoroughly, and this facial cleanser's formulation does NOT sting your eyes--AMAZING!!! This thoroughly removed all my makeup and I had no residue on my toner cotton pad afterwards. My face did not feel overstripped of its natural oil and moisture yet felt clean. This is a good makeup removing facial cleanser leaving your face feeling clean and soft.

This face cleaner foamed up very nicely and effectively took off all my makeup and left my face feeling very clean & refreshed . There is a slight scent that smells very good .

Cleans well and smells good. Will still need moisturizer afterwards.
