Hello, the objective lens is divided into 41040100 standard configuration. Generally, it ends at 40. 90% of the specimens can be seen, and a few specimens need 100 times the objective lens. There is no need to use oil for the objective lens less than 40 times, because the multiple is not very large. Only 100 times of the objective lens needs to use cedar oil, which drips on it to increase its refractive index.

Q: How can I get it to 100x setting ?

You select the 10x objective and the 10x eyepieces.
