No tummy issues. And thank God someone finally took out sweeteners. I HATE artificial sweeteners just to make something 100 calories and I even hate more when powders have stevia because that stuff tears uppppp my stomach. Xanax gums I’ve accepted as a necessary evil but they don’t have those either so not to be tmi but no bloating or gas after this. And 31 grams of protein? Awesome. ALSO; it’s not thick and very refreshing. It’s not very sweet and I can put this with fairlife skim milk and it’s not that annoying thick type of shake that makes you want to throw up. I also didn’t need a shaker bottle, it’s soooo fine that it practically dissolves. This is the FIRST protein powder I’ve actually had more than 3 times. I usually give up because they’re so gross. Please just buy it, it has 26 servings, not that stupid 15-20 servings at the store and Is like the same price. Okay anyway- thanks for coming to my Ted talk

This is a high quality protein. I like that it has a short ingredient list. Price is a little high but that’s what I expected from a higher quality product. My only complaint is that it isn’t sweet enough for my liking.

I'm in my third and final stage of the great summer meltdown (That's what I call it, nothing official there). Every year, I lose 20-30 pounds in summer then gain 30-40 pounds in winter, so since I'm getting older, I decided to not only aim for a 50 pound weight loss but also to cut my bodyfat in half. The unfair heads-up, for 22 years, I played sports at a top-tier level, baseball and football on organized teams and weekend basketball pickup game player. I'm familiar with which foods "work" for me. Which is why I turned to protein supplements to help me. My whole food intake is 1,250 calories a day. That's very low for my starting weight of 270. I'm very active between work, coaching youth sports and still playing sports. I cut out all soft drinks. That hurt since I love local drinks from my area like Dr. Enuf. I then agreed with myself to eat some fruit and drink protein shakes throughout the day. I have been a huge supporter of Naked Nutrition's products and still do use them but I needed more specific sizes in my supplements (especially 1 pound tubs) and Promix meets that need. In this last step, I have a bowl of fruit in the morning, blueberries and watermelon are my current favorites. Before lunch, I drink 1 Chocolate whey shake from Promix. I mix it in 10 ounces of Almond Breeze unsweetened Vanilla milk (only 30 calories). For lunch, I have a flatbread sandwich with tomato and lettuce on it. No condiments. Around 3-4 PM, I'll have another Promix chocolate whey shake. Once home, I have a fairly large meal, salad with grilled chicken and pasta, salad with steak, if I'm in a hurry I'll go with 3 flatbread sandwiches. I have vegetable snacks for the rest of the evening (bowl of raw broccoli, grilled asparagus, etc...) Then at around 10 PM, I drink a chocolate casein Promix shake (also with the Almond Breeze milk), but the casein one is 3 scoops = 1.5 serving. I also take L-Arginine, Citrulline D-Malate and BCAA. My "meltdown" doesn't end until September 1st but as of July 23, I'm down to 231 with a 12% bodyfat. I started at 270 with a 20% bodyfat. It's worked better than I expected it to. As for the product itself, this is the best chocolate whey I've tried. I don't know if I'm just used to eating less and now everything tastes better or what but when mixed in the almond milk this tastes a lot like my favorite chocolate milk (Promised Land). I experience no problems with digesting. Note the almond milk is because I do have some lactose sensitivity and this protein doesn't hurt that at all. I'm very happy with all of the products I've used from both ProMix and Naked but will say for chocolate the ProMix is better, at least to me. It's also very easy to mix. I use a simple Blender Bottle for the ProMix whey shakes. My son is convinced I'm trying to make a comeback in sports but he doesn't realize I'm doing it for my health and to show him you don't have to eat a bunch of disgusting foods to lose weight or to stay in shape. Six more weeks and hopefully, another 10 pounds and 2% bodyfat. Oh and I chose the Isolate form because I find Isolate easier to digest.

If you're someone that isn't into sweets and wants a natural tasting dark chocolate protein shake, you're going to absolutely love this. I mean it literally has 4 ingredients and the only chocolate related one is organic cacao. My bag didn't come with a scoop, which I wish it did to just make things easier in terms of measuring out their serving size. I do think its also important to point out that while the bag says 31g of protein per serving, that comes from 2 scoops, or 44g overall. It does mix really well (tho it does make a bit of froth at the top if you use a hand blender) and tasted really smooth. Love that its clean ingredients and feels healthier than certain brands that are just pumped full of artificial flavors and sweeteners. I could see this making a fantastic mug cake dessert if that's something you're into. TLDR; + Clean Ingredients + Mixes Well + Tastes/feels healthy + Not really sweet at all + Conscious packaging - Cost - Number of servings

Overall this is a great protein powder - clean ingredient list, good macros, no stevia, blends well. I like the vanilla flavor, it’s mild and mixes well with fruit. The chocolate flavor is pretty gross in my opinion, I won’t buy that one again. I am taking one star off my review because of the bag - to put it bluntly, it sucks. Impossible to reseal once it’s open and causes a powdery mess. I transfer the powder to a washed-out tub from another brand to avoid dealing with the bag every day. I’ll continue to buy but wish they would improve the packaging!
