Good quality for the price

Not fit for my purpose which was to run a 10-meter length between a tv aerial socket in one room to a tv set in an adjacent room. Signal degradation was not acceptable. Threw it in the bin and bought a higher-quality RG6 cable. The later, even at 30m length test performed better.

It was ok for the money but quaility was poor stranded centre core of coaxial instead of solid cooper core very lossy on transmit on some of the amature radio bands ok for pig tail connectors or short runs of only a few feet to antenna. Would be like putting out a pice of string on longer runs of coaxil to a antenna gain loss would be too lossey

Cable was expected rg58 more than I needed but did the job for purpose don't know why other reviews are disappointed I find it did what it's meant for no problems will buy again .

This alleged RG58/20m coaxial cable piece from electrosmart isn’t RG58 standard coaxial cable due very poor braided shield. See attached pictures showing comparison of this item with a standard RG58 cable from market. Notice the braided shield density differences that not qualifies this cable as RG58 standard but may be as shielded cable.The weak braided shield don’t let a proper assembly of a RF connector.The outer jacket of the cable marking reads as RG58 without any other reference from a manufacturer.I returned my order and Amazon charged me £2.79 without any support and near impossible properly communication.

Too thin but my fault, misread the ad

This is not standard rg58 it's rg58 mini and will only handle 10 watts max
