The most advanced and strongly-built one
Excellent instrument, after doing a lot of research and trying different arrangers, this is the most flexible, capable and sturdy-built one. The fully 88 weighted keys make it a prime piano as well, with the ability to upload different instruments and styles on it.

Don’t buy it whatever you do
My Korg PA5X 88 keyboard arrived and the top half the keyboard doesn’t work. I’m very frustrated as Korg’s warranty section on their website doesn’t even work. I spent over $5k on this for a lemon.

amazing
I had a Pa4x,, now the PA5X is everything the 4X was not.. way more fun to play, way better control, way easier to navigate the sounds and read the larger display..

Amazing unit, but overpriced, Korg support is lacking
I purchased this unit this year and while I thought the features, user interface, build quality was fabulous. I also definitely do not think it is worth almost $5000 and I returned mine. It is also for a very specific target market. I do not think this is for the home hobbyist like me. I think this is for someone who makes their living using the accompaniment features this has and all the other live play features. I will say that I went through two units - the first had software functional issues, even after installing the most recent OS update and the second one had build issues. The faders were not level on the board. For a $5000 unit that is unacceptable. When I tried to get support down here in San Diego, the two places that do Korg support are 50 miles from where I live and both are too busy and never called me back or returned messages. The Korg support person couldn’t get them to answer their phone either. Suggestion was that I go up to LA - more than 70 miles from my house each way. That is simply unacceptable and for me put Korg off the table. Would I buy one of these in the future? Sure- I would buy one used if I could get it for less and say $2000. What did I purchase in its place? I bought a Kurzweil pc4-7 for sounds and sound creation and a Yamaha PSR SX700 for Styles. Bought both of them used - with 3rd party extended warranties for less than half the price of this Korg unit new and that’s after a seller discount. I think it would be worth your while to check out how Korg is - or is not - supported in your area in case this unit has to go back for service. That is something you should consider. Or buy it used and get a third-party aftermarket extended warranty as they seem to be much more responsive to customers.
