Rite-Hite Marine Dock Ladder - 5 Step (Orange)

Love it. At a perfect angle for a lake ladder.

I purchased this ladder for my floating dock in 2024. I got it in blue and the powder coating was in pretty good shape upon arrival but definitely had a few scratches from what I would call poor packaging for shipping. Assembly was not too hard but took a little while mostly because of terrible directions and many mislabeled parts. However, if you are handy you can figure it out. All the parts were included. I ran into some issues with mounting to the dock but can’t blame the ladder as every dock is different. I had to get longer bolts and fabricate some supports for the face of the mounting bracket. The issues I had were some of the holes on the steps were not drilled out and required modification and the directions were terrible. I would have expected better quality control for a $1000 ladder. Once assembled I am very happy with the ladder. It seems very sturdy and is exactly what I was looking for. One last note is that you can’t lift it up and down by yourself because it has a retention pin on both sides to pull and you can’t do both by yourself and lift the ladder. Again this was not a huge issue for me but it’s something to consider if you are by yourself.

Ladder showed up with little to no correct hardware. Instructions in box was for a vinyl fence and even had vinyl fence hinges in box. Shown in pics. Some bolt holes were not drilled totally through and ladder is painted not powder coated. Very incomplete product. After spending another $50 in hardware at Lowes it is together. Will likely have to repaint after a year. I would not purchase this ever again.

Sturdy and easy to use for all ages and body weights. It could use 1 more step but only share in case it is helpful to the manufacturer. Would buy again!

Love how beautiful and sturdy it is, definitely makes it easy for my kids to get in and out of the bay.

The ladder was ordered to be installed on our dock in Hatteras, NC. While we are on the sound, we do get high winds and significant tidal/wave action. The product arrived quickly, was super easy to install, look amazing and has held up VERY well. What I was even more impressed with was the fact that after a recent storm I noticed we had some rusting of the set pins and one of the bolts that attach the ladder to the mount had come loose and washed away. I reached out to the supplier, RM Industries, via email. RM Industries responded is less than 24 hours, requested a photo of the parts we needed to replace and shipped them out within 2 days... NO charge. We will be customer for life and a huge prosumer! THANKYOU! If you are on the fence about ordering this item or any other from them... don't hesitate.

The ladder appears nice, however I was provided the incorrect size washers, and the socket bolts are too small for any deck, regardless of size. However that is the least of the issues. The instructions are extremely poor and provide directions with incorrectly numbered components. It also comes with a very cheap plastic bushing that is simply junk and not fit for $1000, should have a bushing that will last more than a couple uses. Lastly one of the holes that are part of the hinge of the ladder was not the right size; I had to drill it out to get the pin fastener to be able to fit in it. I would not recommend this ladder. It also is a little flimsy for $1000, I would have thought it would be more sturdy. One the good side, it does look nice and after you fix all the issues, it’s a pretty good dock ladder
