heavy duty ease of moving kayak
I got this for use on my Old Town Predator (pedal kayak)....it is perfect. Kayak and gear weigh over 100# and this cart just slides in underneath and allows me to singlehandedly roll the unit up and down 20 stone steps at my Maine cottage....plus easy manuevering on the beach, in the storage sheds, etc.Great product....very sturdy

Great product!
I thought this was kind of pricey as I bought a cheaper kayak carrier months ago for about half the price of this one. Any yak carrier that is dependent on straps only to keep it in place, is a waste of money. The mounting rods are essential. Great product, now please excuse me while I take my yak for a walk.

Awesome for my hoodoo tempest 120p
Works great with the tempest 120p kayak. The yak weighs about 75 pounds and this handles it no problem. Awesome design and works perfectly. Would definitely buy this again.

Fits ocean kayak trident perfectly.
The wheels come off real easy. I live close to the water and pull the kayak down the street for about a mile or so. I can take the wheels off and collapse the cart to fit in the kayak’s storage hatch. For my purposes, the strap is not needed at all. I cut it off.

Great kayak cart
I bought 2 kayak carts, this on and the other common type. I love this cart cause I can just pull it out and store it behind my kayak seat when paddling. I would definitely recommend it

Great product
This is exactly what I was looking for. Adjustable, lightweight, and stable transport for my tandem kayaks at a good price. So simple and maneuverable that my 7-year-old son is able to use.

Seems to struggle with a loaded kayak
My 54lbs kayak rolls great on this thing. My 54lbs kayak loaded with camping gear and food for a six day excursion...its strained and doesn't roll so well. I'm flip-flopping between 3 and 4 stars as I really thought it would break when I put the loaded kayak on it for the first time. But it held up and did the job on my trip. Time will tell. In hindsight, I think larger rubber wheels would have worked better for a loaded kayak. The strap is long enough to go around I think a pontoon boat. :/

Great till it broke
simple to set up and use. I prefer this type of cart compared to the scupper type for my SOT kayak. used it 4 times before it broke (metal part by one of the wheels) would be great for recreational kayaks but I suppose not for heavier fishing kayaks

Best kayak carrier in the market right now for it’s price.
Break down / assembly is a breeze. The button to lock the wheel in place has some rough corners ( not smooth ). This has the tendency to bind when installing or removing the wheel. However, a few quick pass of an emery cloth fixed it in no time. The wide no-flat tires are great so far. This is one of the items I bought online that I feel that I got my money’s worth.

Look for something better, posts too big.
The posts with the rubbers are way too big, I had to open the post holes in the kayak to their maximum width with a dremel and it was still not enough so I cut the rubber on the cart to bare metal defeating the purpose of having rubber posts and it just fit through.I would not have bothered going through all of this but my daughter needed her kayak portable immediately as she is going with her friends and I didn't want her left behind. The cart has nice big wheels and a sturdy frame and doesn't run all over the place but they really need to not make the posts so thick. One other thing I noticed after I cut off the rubber tips is that it is made of regular metal so expect it to rust out eventually.I should have bought one in aluminum.Don't drop this in the water, it will not float. This cart will work with a lot of tweaking but you should really look for something better.
